man, why couldn't they have painted him up orange like the predacon??   I'm really not digging the brown and blue feathers at all. which sucks cause I LOVE the mold.

 

Hmm, I wonder if an Energon Sharkticon repaint is far behind. I was a fan of those two molds.

 

I figure I'll be the first to ask this but are we even sure this is going to be a Botcon exclusive? I dont recall anything being mentioned and I thought they were going for pre crash landing on Earth BW figs in which case this would make no sense, not to mention Airazor came along later. Not that I would mind this done as Airazor but I think were jumping the gun a bit on this speculation.

As for the toy itself it looks not bad, not great but not bad, as a Con exclusive I think it would be ok, other then that I would probably pass on this though.

 

Given the colors, I think it's either Barfotron or Pukobot.

 

My guess is that's it's a Club Store exclusive. It doesn't fit in with anything else.

It could be another Universe release. The line isn't quite done yet as we've yet to see the Micromaster Areialbots.

 

Curious.... I wonder what it'll end up being.

Even if it was said that the convention set has only Cybertron molds, it doesn't mean that other convention exclusives will also be Cybertron molds. But I'd be surprised to see that many molds (5 from the set, the posibility of a Megatron and this Divebomb) used on this year's convention.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

There's only a couple obvious options that I see right now:

1. A repaint for Cybertron "Jungle Planet", though the mold having no support for a key doesn't work too well for that.

2. A club exclusive, or a Botcon exclusive outside of the main set, though it doesn't seem to closely resemble any known BW characters. Perhaps a new character for the con story?

Or it might be a generic store exclusive like Universe Snowcat and Downshift

Bird mode looks hawt and i really like that purple-y-blue Energon.

hope this ends up being something attainable (kicks self for missing out on Shadowhawk Cosmo type)

 

I like the colors as well. But I don't have space for repaints.
