Has been a little while since we had some Star Saber, good to see my most anticipated figure of 2015 is having a good Christmas time.

 

Yuki is officially the Best Person in the Entire World.
I'm totally going to send him a valentine next year.

This release,based one how succesfully reenacts the cartoon model,has the potential of being the greatest MP ever.Whether u like the aesthetics or paint scheme etc or not

 

So this figure is pretty much said an done , an just waiting to be mass produced ?! In the meantime his maker is just having a blast playing around with him for the past 2 months! I'm so jealous.

 

i've had this feeling for a long time. All else equal, I haven't seen any of the other designers have the same type of passion for an individual project.

Coupled with the fact that the last MP Yuki designed was Megatron with a 2 week deadline, he was baptized by fire for the MP line and now clearly the time constraints and budget constraints are much more relaxed and he is definitely flexing his muscles. I really think this will be the best MP released to date.

 

Maybe in an effort to make sure everything is absolutely perfect once it gets into our hands Yuki requested some extra lead time so he could play with the production version for a few months. Sometimes design problems get missed or don't show themselves until after a toy is released and maybe he'd like to avoid that if possible. It's a little far-fetched but considering how much love and devotion is being poured into this thing I wouldn't be surprised.

But yes, I'm sewing jelly all over the place...

 

I know...I'm just dang lazy.

Nice. The larger Star Saber component in the background really reminds me of MP-22 Ultra Magnus's trailer when it's transformed into bot mode without the truck cab.

 

While I doubt they know for sure, which how much love and work is going into this guy I would be shocked if there wasn't some design elements included solely to make that combination work should they get a Leo made.

 

I also hope they have Victory Leo in mind when making this figure

 

Would there be more demand for a Victory Leo first, or a God Ginrai? Victory Leo is very possible, but he was Ginrai first.
