    Yeah it makes so much sense: make a G1 themed set with only 4 Dinobots, but make the AOE set and include one that wasn't on screen. I'm sure most people would've preferred Slog to have been in the SDCC set instead of the Dinobots Unleashed where he really is a spare part.

    hooray, ANOTHER non retail store exclusive.. i'm starting to sound as redundant as this shit is.

    it's just so annoying that NONE of the nice looking exclusives are retail store exclusives in the US. congrats hasbro!.

    The original listing for the SDCC set says 5 figures and even named Slog as the fifth member. My order confirmation from then even says Dinobot Five-Pack.

    Maybe I'm just nitpicking but where's the CHROME? The SDCC set had vac metalized parts like the G1 dinobots had but Slog appears to just have gold/silver paint and plastic instead.

    You assume it's Hasbro who decided to not make these store exclusives, but don't forget Hasbro and the stores both work in partnership on these things. How do we know that Target / Walmart / etc were not offered this initially but declined to carry it in favour of what they've got?

    I think he means the title/description originally used by HTS for the Dinobot set when they first were listed for sale. Just a guess as my order confirmation says "Transformers Dinobots Generation One 5-Pack".
