I've recently taken up the habit of re-watching the live action series' action scenes and actually slowing them down to take more in. At some moments, normal speed is necessary, yes, but slowing some parts down actually makes the scene a lot cooler.

    Does anyone else do this?

Sometimes but not often. I typically really enjoy the overwhelming action sequences that Bay puts together, I just get bored with the action in other movies after the third or fourth time. So I actually really enjoy watching something that's a little too much to take in the first time.

yes i actually love doing this..it really becomes something else when you see how detailed some of this stuff is..for example..did you know you can spot strafe, stinger, & optimus prime in the scene where drift kills those 2 red vehicons and then grimlock fires towards the screen?...wasn't even looking for him and then boom there he is (optimus prime)..turns a great shot into an incredible shot

I noticed that in the TV spots with that scene, but I agree.

It looks cooler but it's way too overdone.
