Since we have numerous Bot comparison threads, figured I'd throw this out there. In a confrontation, who would win?
Without. In a straight up fight, with NEST fighting to protect the BOTS and Cemetary Wind fighting to destroy the Bots.
Well, NEST seemed to have a lot more resources on hand then Cemetery Wind. They could call in powerful airstrikes and had access to a wide range of vehicles. I think Cemetery Wind just had black vans and maybe some copters?
N.E.S.T will beat Cemetery Wind by far. N.E.S.T is basically the military. They have all kinds of Military equipment, planes, jets, tanks and more personnel. Cemetery Wind have black SUVs and a couple of helicopters.
I choose NEST, but neither NEST nor Cemetery Wind would be successful without the help of the Autobots and Lockdown respectively. Especially Cemetery Wind.
In a straight-up fight, definitely NEST. Cemetery Wind would fight dirty and have no qualms with putting innocents at risk.
NEST. Technology advantage. Tech is a huge force multiplier and when it comes down to a fight against two highly trained special operations units such as NEST and Cemetary Wind, I would definitely give the edge to NEST. On a pure operations level, lets not forget that Cemetary Wind is part of CIA SOG. Although it's never explicitly stated, it is absolutely likely that Cemetary Wind's operators come from SOG, which is the CIA's direct action, combat related branch. SOG Operators are people with special forces experience, so on a basic level the training, strategy and tactics that would be employed with be more or less identical between the two units.
straight up fight - Cemetary Wind All the gear, training and no annoying morals to do the right thing, unfortunately they would win. Gear takes ages to mobilise whereas they are light and quick so can bug out when NESTS support units finally arrive, no doubt with full CIA support and all that means.
