Hi, I'm Sideways and I like to kill hope.

So the Movie fandom is split when it comes to the surviving Autobots Sideswipe, Dino, Roadbuster, Topspin, and Wheelie. Some say they're alive, orthers say they aren't.

But let me run something by the supporters. Joshua said KSI built 50 models, be it Vehicons, Stinger, Junkheap, whoever. In order for that many to be built, they needed a LOT of Transformium. (ugh) While they did get some from the bodies of the Decepticons, Ratchet, and Leadfoot, they needed more than that in order to make the drones.

So in order to get that many Transformium, they needed to get it from other sources. So who does that leave? The surviving Autobots.

But at the same time, we don't know how much Transformium can be acquired from a single Transformer, so a bunch might have been taken from the bigger guys like Megatron or Shockwave.

What do you think?

 

I am of the opinion that they are dead. On the other hand, the optimists can still hope that they got most of the transformium from the Decepticons as well as cyberformed dinosaurs.

 

When Optimus said "they were my friends" and pointed behind him, I had a feeling there was Autobots there.....because he won't call decepticons friends lol

Then again Ratchet and Leadfoot are there...so who knows

 

I wouldn't mind the other Autobots being dead as much as you think

 

I am of the opinion, barring any contradictions from TF5, that Autobots not appearing in this film have been hunted down, shot to bits, possibly lectured by Lockdown and melted into shape-shifting magic.

 

Yeah, I kind of figure that if they didn't appear in Age of Extinction, they were hunted down and killed off screen

Not to mention Drift says "We are all that is left" when Optimus asks about any other Autobots

 

And you so realize that the Large ship "mother ship" they showed being ripped apart had smaller Con ships still in it, plus Cons and the "mother ship" itself as well as any of the fighter craft are all made from Transfomium. Plus the body of Bonecrusher, Brawl from movie 1, Blackout/Grindor from movie 1/2, any Con bodies they may have gotten thire hands on from Egypt. The remains of the Harvester too. All Transformium.

 

I'm joining the chorus and saying that they've joined the choir invisible.

 

But they found Transformium deposits around Earth. There was an entire scene with Sophia Myles being shown cyber formed Dinosaurs in a quarry.... The 50 prototypes were created from most of the deposits. Not forgetting the ship that Brains and Wheelie crashed into the river.

I'm not on an all out spree saying they're all alive but, there's more Transformim in large deposits and a whole load of dead Decepticons that were killed in Chicago. Who's to say they are all dead anyway? It was not confirmed.

 

There was also that entire army that had invaded Chicago.

 

How could they get Transformium from the mothership? It's not a Transformer.

 

Yah, Drift is the lone sage who can see through robot puppy-dog eyes, he can see that peeps be dead too.

Neither was that dead dinosaur but hey ho. The metal could be used to form their technologies as easily as their biology, especially since some Transformer ships display somewhat limited shifting capabilities (the gunships in DOTM for instance). Depends how you build them, I guess.

 

I was actually expecting a kill em all montage including all of them but I'm hoping they are infact still alive. Atleast Sideswipe.

 

The movie is called "Age of EXTINCTION", they might be dead.

They are dead. None of them did shit anyway. I'd rather them develop the characters they have rather than worry about those background props. I would love to see the autobots mourn them like they did ratchet and leadfoot. If they show a momento like bumblebee using a sideswipe recording to say something. Maybe he can say damn I'm good using sideswipe's voice. Roadbuster,mirage,and topspin were useless waste. Sideswipe atleast showed a fighting capability.

 

I don't think it's so coincident that Ratchet is the last seperated Autobot to be killed. I think there are at least 1 or 2 of them remains but the hope to ever see them again might not exist

 

I think some are still alive but not all of them, maybe like sideswipe and roadbuster and topsin, possibly dino

 

I believe they are dead. There's no reason for them to be alive. And I also hope they are dead. It's a hard thing to say, but they had their chances to be great, but it was wasted. Also, they need those characters to ne dead, so Hasbro can make new toys. They will find a way to say they are dead.

 

I like to think that the Twins are still alive lol.

But basically, if we didn't see a character die on-screen, I think they're still alive.

Until we hear or see otherwise of course.
