In this context phrase, that all sentient beings must have freedom, get even more sense! Creators couldn't determine the fate of their creations even if they very want it! Because TFs are sentient Getting freedom once in far past Cybertronians (the First 12 Primes) recognized that they couldn't take this from other races.
Nice theory! Though, I don't think the Cybertronians rebelled against the Creators. Aren't we all under the assumption that they don't even know about the Creators? All Transformers seem to believe they originate from the Allspark. I could be totally wrong with that, so my apologies in advance Aside from that, this is quite convincing. Hopefully the writers actually introduce this kind of continuity to the trilogy, and the Creators answer these questions. It'd be nice if they acknowledge Lockdown's service too, so he doesn't end up as another forgotten bot. Also, thanks for the high-res image of Lockdown

They turn out to be incredibly flexible machines, both powerful and intelligent. 5. The Creators discover that the Allspark occasionally needs charging, but the only viable power source is the nuclear fusion process of a star. Thus, the 6. Seekers are born and are the first to be given the ability of transformation, so that they may better locate potential stars. 7. The Creators create the Star Harvester, and teach the 13 Primes how to build it themselves. A power matrix was the key component; the jump-starter for the whole machine. Entirely unique and irreplaceable, the Harvester would be inert without it. The Thirteen's leader is charged with handling it [Matrix of Leadership]. 8. The Creators create many more Transformers and diversify them. They even try to succeed the Primes with newer models [Optimus], which aren't made until much later. 9. Eventually, the Primes come to Earth... but a dilemma arises. The Primes had traveled to many worlds but whenever they discovered sentient life, they left; the Creators didn't like species mixing with other species, so they ordered the Primes to keep a low profile. When the Primes discover young humanity however, they're divided. Most of them object to destroying this star system, but the Fallen does not. He writes off humans as primitive, and the Creators wouldn't miss them. 10. The Fallen steals the power matrix and tries to activate the Star Harvester against his brothers' wishes. He doesn't believe humanity is worth robbing the Creators (and their own race) of a star. He willingly condemns himself, knowing that his brothers would forever despise him for doing what must be done. If he didn't do it, they would all feel the Creators' wrath. The other Primes confront the Fallen, defeating him. They hide the Matrix so it can't be used by the Creators. 11. The Creators are angered, and brand all Transformers as defective. They try to limit their liberties, and killing many others. 12. An underground sect of Transformers rises up to oppose the Creators, and free their brethren from oppression [the Knights of Cybertron]. The Knights fight off the Creators, killing many and crippling their empire. The few that remain flee, freeing Cybertron from tyranny. 13. The Transformers flourish in a golden age. The Knights, with their enemy now gone, resolve to become explorers just like their ancestral Primes. Modern Transformer history. 14. The events of ROTF. The Fallen, now free, wants to activate the Sun Harvester even after the Creators have long since disappeared. Sure it'll provide energy, but humanity turned his own brothers against him. He wants revenge. That wasn't hard. I like it, but the idea of that the Transformers aren't capable of transformations until the Seekers ...not so much. Also, did the Seekers create the Matrix or was that engineered by the Creators? This is all just speculation and for fun so I'd like to hear more input.
According to the movieverse lore, the Seekers were among the first Transformers, characterized by their ability to traverse space. The Thirteen Primes did not display any kind of transformation, so I think it's safe to say the Seekers were among the first Transformers who actually transformed. Alas, I'm grasping at straws.
If I remember correctly the Fallen was from the first 13 pool, but him not Transforming...hmm idk. Because I like the fallen I'll deny/dismiss the theory of his inability to transform. Let's just say he chose not to, Lol.
I think it's more likely he had those symbols on his face to begin with and just happened to be damaged on the left side of his face
In my head cannon, Lockdown was a former Decepticon. He was a sniper who doubled as basic infantry, who was utterly loyal to a fault. A full on fanatic. During a particularly heated (and later infamous) campaign, he was severely wounded. Megatron decided it would be too costly to retrieve all the damaged survivors, and decreed that they should be left for dead. Incensed by this betrayl, the young Lockdown sold every Decepticon secret he had ever learned in exchange for repairs and amnesty. A young field medic named Ratchet (hint: that's how he knew Lockdown's name) fixed him, but Lockdown told him to leave the scar. Leaving Cybertron on an Autobot shuttle, with nothing more than his sniper rifle and a hate-on for the world, Lockdown became a mercenary, working for rations afforded organics who found him invalueable. He fought for a million causes- And never let himself believe in any of them. Eventually, he became the galaxy's premier bounty hunter. Eventually, he was contacted by the Creators, who payed him more than he could ever spend in one lifetime, to bring them every single Knight. They upgrade him, making him something akin to a living armory. The Knights become his great chase, but he still takes up smaller jobs along the way. So, his whole spiel about causes being meaningless in the grand scheme of things, and only fighting for yourself, and how no one'a really the center of the universe sin' because he's found something so AMAZING out there that nothing else compares (which is cliché as all hell), but because he's been everywhere, and none of what he's seen really mattered in the long run.
