Our beloved medical officer Ratchet.R.I.P.Anyway great stuff,I wanted it to put it in an existing thread but then maybe some people won't see it

 

I was hoping it's a Ratchet's body pic in his new painting when i read the tittle. We never actually see one

Nah, that's just his game render, i was hoping to get a more detail one

 

i was hoping we could see his robot mode but all damaged (i know thats kinda weird but i want a better idea of how badly injured he got like in the film)

 

Looks more like a safety test drive for an ambulance than concept art

 

Even chase scenes and various action moments will have concept art done for them.

 

damn ratchet, they are looking for you to hunt you down, and you still ve the "Im ratchet the ambulance" vehicle mode ????

 

Why was he awake? Was it because Cade jump started Prime and Prime said, "Calling all Autobots"?

The Calling All Autobots thing happened after Ratchet was dead, from what we can tell Optimus was the only Autobot in stasis, everyone else was active. even Drift said that Bee was leading the team during Optimus absense

 

that's what he gets for not being red and white.

I do wonder why he didn't change his alt-mode. I mean, there's straight-up Autobot logos on the side.


Probably just some TFP-esc dumbing down of otherwise intelligent characters.

 

To be fair though, while you don't usually see a Hummer ambulance, ambulances themselves with logos similar to where Ratchet has his Autobot symbol are pretty common.

If you see one driving past you with lights flashing you're just going to write it off as another ambulance.

His alt mode was a pretty good one, it was his going out and hiding as an ambulance in a ship graveyard that was his mistake. With no other reason for an ambulance to be there since it was obviously deserted, it definitely looked suspicious and you're gonna be looking at it more and see the Autobot symbols.

 

To be fair, is Ratchet really dead? We see Lockdown rip his spark out but it isn't destroyed. For all we know it could still be somewhere on his ship.

 

Jetfire had his spark ripped, died and stayed dead. the same could be for Ratchet
