I want a prequel film for Aoe that takes place right after dotm and ends where Aoe starts. The film should consist of the following things: 1.what happened to Sam and nest 2.what happened to the other autobots except ratchet and leadfoot. 3.how Optimus regained his arm and his first encounter with lockdown and the humans which forced him to take the rusty form 4.where was bumblebee this whole time? 5.how did lockdown come in his ship to earth without anyone noticing 6.where did the new autobots come from? 7.savoy's backstory showing how his sister died and his hatred towards the transformers 8.attingers backstory 9.how Joshua started his company The movie should should start with people recovering from the loss of lives in Chicago. Then should focus on Sam and nest and gradually into savoy and attingers lives cause I really loved both of them. The movie should have a very dark tone. I don't want this movie to have any action scenes. Just drama and a little bit thriller. The movie should end with Optimus going into that old theater. I really want such a movie to be made explaining all the loopholes. Please suggest some ideas as I may write a fan story for this in my past time. Also tell me how do u feel about it
A lot of that is kind of intuitively connect the dots. Mainly cause the cause and effect will already be known for most of those situations, it would make for a non suspenseful movie. I almost think a better Prequel could be done to set up how the dinobots knights came to be 65 million years ago and how they broke off from the creators and get imprisoned by Lockdown. Maybe its just me but all of that seemed very vague.
A movie is unlikely as Shia Labeouf went insane I believe... Getting a lot of the cast together and telling a cohesive and interesting story would also be a bit of an issue. As the only thing you'd be able to focus on is cemetery wind hunting the Transformers. It could explain when they first attacked though... I don't know... just cant see a movie happening especially when they plan on moving forward with TF5. Feel it would likely work better in the form of a novel, telling the story of the Autobots being hunted and due to this they would be able to delve into the characters a lot more. I thought that they were going to be implied as scanning the "Transformium'd" Dinosaur's? I don't know... seemed really coincidental (And pointless) showing Transformium covered Dinosaurs for no reason if not :s
I'd be fine with a high quality animated movie. More back story on Attinger and Savoy. The actual details of how the alliance with Lockdown started. Hound, Crosshairs, and Drift arive and we learn more about them. Cemetery Wind and Lockdown kill more Autobots/Decepticons. Culminating with the Mexico City ambush.
Let the movies go forward. A novelization or a comic inbetween DOTM and AOE would be more feasible. Even though I can't stand Sam, I would like to know what happened to him.
I was wondering the other day about this. I really enjoyed the previous movie-related comics (I should pull them out and read them again sometime) and would love to see some stories taking place between DotM and AoE (though it would be sad seeing Autobot deaths). I'm really surprised there weren't any as the other movies all had some...
I am glad those hacker never made it to any of the other movie. They really ground that movie to a halt.
I think the reason IDW may not have done a prequel comic/adaptation for AOE is because their adaptation for DOTM had a COMPLETELY different ending from the movie. Which means that IDW either didn't want to contradict themselves by following up the actual movie as opposed to their adaptation or they felt some sense of betrayal by the studio for either keeping them out of the loop of a last minute change which COMPLETELY changed the course of the story or diverging from what the script they gave them in the first place just for the sake of having a different ending from theirs.
