The Autobots didn't seem to have any clue about Ratchet or Leadfoot until they saw the video and the head at KSI, so I'm sure they don't truly know the status of all the other bots out there. I think Sideswipe could still be out there somewhere, just hiding really good.
The Autobot cards seem to be Bumblebee, Ironhide, Elita One, and a fourth one off to the right. All have crosses except Bumblebee. I might go rewatch AOE when my cinema's doing cheap tickets, and keep an eye out for this.
And Barricade didn't show up in ROTF an was thought dead was he not? And he showed up in DOTM right? There is always a chance that 1 or 2 not seen Bots could still come back for movie 5.
what is this obsession with sideswipe? .. i mean, i think he's cool too.. but we barely got to know him.. he only had a few lines throughout two movies. from what we have seen.. it seems like he doesn't mind fighting.. so, why wouldn't he regroup with the others to fight galvatron/lockdown?.. why would he stay hidden? i'm guessing he's dead.. i don't see any other possible conclusion. plus.. who's to say that those cards are up to date? and yeah.. they didn't have any clue that ratchet and leadfoot were dead because that had just happened. if they're all getting the message to cease contact with humans, i also assume they'd all get a message to reunite when the rest of them did. so.. again, in all likelihood, he's dead. and like you said, prime didn't yet know that ratchet and leadfoot had died.. so why would he be THAT upset at the humans?.. i can understand him being mad, but upset would mean that they've killed other bots. now.. if he didn't know about ratchet and leadfoot, that leaves dino, sideswipe, roadbuster, and topspin. humans had to have killed those bots. otherwise, who's left from dotm.
They aren't necessarily dead, they could've just been hiding in more inconspicuous places or in large groups. Plus, there might be other Autobots who arrived on earth like drift, hound and crosshairs
The Autobots in hiding said that they're all that's left. But when they saw Cafe's drone footage of Leadfoot, they didn't seen to know he was dead yet until then. So it's possible that there are other Autobots out of contact.
This is honestly the only complaint I had about the movie. And I know it's something I shouldn't even get miffed about, because it's not like it's something that we, as Transformers fans, shouldn't be used to, but I hate the way they addressed (or didn't address) characters that didn't show up in the movie. The Ratchet scene at the beginning was awesome. Heart breaking, yes, but it was also extremely well done. And I'm glad we got to see Leadfoot getting taken down. I just wish we knew for a fact what happened to the others (like Sideswipe, Dino, and I'm still missing the Twins lol). At the very least, they should've given Brains some sort of throwaway line about Wheelie since they were like BFs We'll see what the next movie brings, but I would definitely like some closure on these characters.
i actually thought they did a really good job filling in the holes comparatively to what they've done prior (twins). Im all but certain 1 or 2 other bots fates will be revealed for certain once those screens are gleamed. so far i've only heard about these bots... Bumblebee Elita-One (red x) Ironhide (red x) Sideswipe Wheeljack (red x)
Erm, Drift thinks they are all that is left, because they couldn't find any others. How the hell is he supposed to know if Swipe and others aren't in Africa or something?
The questions about those freaking cards do always seem to come back to Swipe. Just goes to show that alot of people actually really like him. To paraphrase: DAMN HE'S GOOD.
That only further proves their argument against you dude. Drift say's they're all that's left then a couple scenes later they see the recordings of a only recently killed Ratchet and Leadfoot meaning that the Autobots DON'T know who's still alive making it all the more likely that there ARE more survivors. Not necessarily. The way they all complain about Bumblebee having been in charge leads me to assume this group of Autobots had been in hiding together all these years or at least been together for a while meaning if they got the call they'd all arrive together whereas other Autobots could be stranded alone. Nobody's saying that the other Autobots aren't dead what's up with all you people and only believing in polar extremes? Optimus himself had been attacked multiple times from what I recall for all we know most if not all of there survivors ARE dead yes on his attacks alone he has the right to be furious. Point is though all that we are saying is that there is a chance for survivors. The only proof would be in those cards.
This is what I think they are in Africa or Europe or. The Middle East its a big world. All I want is for Swipe,Dino and the Wrecknecks alive.
Uhh I don't know, something the Autobots would use to find each other? Why would Lockdown ask Ratchet where Optimus Prime is? Most likely the Autobots have a system which pinpoints each others locations. Sorry, the dialogue suggests he is dead. "We are all that is left." "They are hunting us down one by one." Drift didn't say "I think" or "It seems." He said it as a factual statement.
The humans are able to track the Transformers via their signatures and frequencies. They wouldn't be able to 'ping' or communicate with each other, without being picked-up/located by the humans. So my guess is that Prime ordered the Bots to go completely silent, turn off any and all signatures and ways the humans could track them. Ratchet wasn't detected until he turned on his frequencies, and I suspect that's what happened with Leadfoot. It could be that they were close enough to pick up the supposed call from Prime. The others may be out of range or hidden well enough for them to power down into a sort of stasis.
"It seems" doesn't mean it's a fact it's like saying it seems we are the only planet with intelligent lifeforms it isnt a factual statement.
He also said stealth was important, before freaking out at the alien that grabbed him. He also assumed the Dinobots would be giant cars. So, it's very possible and more than likely that he assumed they were all that was left. They didn't know about Ratchet or Leadfoot until well after the fact. I don't go by a Bot, whose been in hiding, making assumptions. I'm basing it on these cards that clearly show who is and isn't dead via a giant red x.
Umm exactly the real quote was "We are all that is left." I meant he didn't use anything else to show the possibility of other Autobots such as using "It seems" in his sentence.
