Your listing. AOE was the best, in my opinion, Transformers 1 was great, DOTM suffers from too much Sam goofiness (it was cute in the first movie... by movie three it got old) and ROTF... there is a reason it is the longest of my 'How I would redo them' series

 

For me it's:
07- it was my introduction to the world of transformers and a great movie overall with a straight forward plot
DOTM- I honestly don't know why I like it so much but hey ho, I suppose it's probably something to do with sentinel prime or the action sequences
AOE- the plot is all over the place and feels like 3 movies in 1 without an ending to any of them, but the action and the reintroduction to the autobots was amazing and the best out of them all but sadly the plot ruins it
ROTF- the only good things to come out of it was the Forrest battle, I find the rest of it boring

Tf07 7/10 has best story but is slow at times
Rotf 3/10 has the best action scene with the forest battle besides that total crap
Dotm 7/10 balances story and action but focuses more on humans and transformers are built with Legos.
Aoe 7/10 best characterization of the transformers and human cast was decent but plot was a mess.

I believe every movie is better than the last

 

TF '86: 7/10 Good, especially for long time fans.
AoE: 5/10 The live action movies finally hit the level of "okay."
DoTM: 3/10 Pulls the franchise out of "unwatchable territory" with real improvements to the robot storyline. Sadly, the humans still drag it down. (Does it seem Michael has just as little interest in human beings as he does the transformers?)
Tf '07: 2/10 cluttered, nonsensical, very nearly unwatchable. Sam and Bee being "a boy and his first car" is clearly the idea, but the film doesn't make it work at all. Part of that is Sam Witwicky being the product of lazy writing, disinterested directing, and hack acting.
RoTF: 0/10 To quote from Devin Faraci's AoE review, "Like binge watching the death of humanity." That was way over harsh for AoE, but fits RoTF perfectly.

 

Age of Extinction: 6 or 7/10
Honestly, I really enjoyed this the most. This felt like a Transformers movie at long last. Yeah the action dragged on at the end but it wasn't as much as before. And there was actually character development to the five Autobots at the first half of this movie. And I loved Galvatron and Lockdown. Lack of Dinobots sure but, meh.

2007: 6 or 7/10 too
Personally I thought it did a good job at introducing to the casual viewer what the Transformers were all about. Yeah there was too much human interaction but it felt like it still mattered in trying to make a good movie.

Dark of the Moon: 4/10
It had potential to be better, nope. Sentinel Prime was an interesting character for a bit, wasted. It had a big action scene at the end that was fun too see, but far too human centered. The comedy, bleh. And overall was just boring. The movie only gets a few points for Leonard Nimoy, but overall it just repeated a lot of mistakes from ROTF. Speaking of which:

Revenge of the Fallen: 0/10
Umm, Tony Todd as the Fallen was good, but it was a wasted character. ... Well, Megan Fox just screamed and ran about in the movie, robots fighting in the desert has never been so boring, and the CGI took a massive step back from the first movie. Don't even mention the so called comedy. But I don't want to think too much about the movie, it was dreadful.
