So yeah, not buying the Unicron plot.

PS.: The image on that report with the most likely fake rumor had Bay hold a statue of a teddybear made to look like Bumblebee.

 

Transformers reboot universe:cast discussion

So since most of the autobots are dead in the bayformers series do you think they will use new or old characters?

 

I don't understand. If they rebooted, they could use all the dead characters.

Are you referring to the current future of the MovieVerse as reboot? Because I think it's technically an expansion.

Anyway, one day I'd hope to see a movie series more in line with my preferences, but right now they don't need to reboot, they just need to be better. There's plenty of characters they can use. Magnus, Springer, Chromedone, Cyclonus, Overlord... hold on, I'm wasting my time,  , check here

And they can always invent new ones.

Antagonist-wise, I am hoping that the Creators make an appearance. I would love to see a Bayverse Knock Out as inspired by Transformers Prime, and Bay versions of some of the animalcons in RID. Some of Bay's themes about self determinism versus destiny, and relative freedom / enslavement to wealth etc would fit in nicely with a deliberately created underclass, a sort of neo-aristocratic space menagerie. Lockdown alludes to them all serving someone, and the Creators are going to need a fair amount of protection based on the enemies they're making. But knowing Bay, the Creators could be friend, foe, or something in between.
Galvatron is a must, but I don't mind his story arc being sidelined.

Protagonist-wise, I have no interest in Joyce, or Cade, or his family, but I suppose I can endure him. I would enjoy seeing Crosshairs and Drift again, but I don't hold much hope for their chances of a happy ending.

Maybe, but not in TF5. Maybe as the FINAL showdown between Optimus and Megatron/Galvatron before one either changes there ways or dies.

 

Not really. More like the most advertised location, but it's certainly not the collest.

I hope it's more along the lines of "changing their ways." I hope the final battle of the series has Galvatron and Prime fighting back-to-back or next to one another against some minions of Unicron or the Creators, but that's just my personal wish. We haven't seen Prime and Megatron/Galvatron truly cooperate yet.

 

that seems to, how should i say this, deep for michael bay to pull of. something like that would require character development and a well directed story. the past movies have shown that he can not do those things.

 

I want Wheeljack back too but it's not happening, Que was Wheeljack. I didn't mind Que, I just wish they would've handled him (As well as all the other characters that showed between Rotf and Dotm) better. Now I want Perceptor, An actual intellectual genius that actually does actual genius-y things and is an actual nerd, and have an ACTUAL TOY!!
