One thing I was confused about this crew is their size. When Shane stood up to surrender to the crew, I remembered seeing them just slightly bigger than a normal human. Then when they were with Lockdown before meeting Attinger, they are about the same size as lockdown. Scale issues I guess. Same thing with the wolves or steel jaw when the wolves are with lockdown and then when they r near Tessa. Anyway not really important. Just thinking if others have the same query.

They're aliens distinguishable from cybertronians that Lockdown hired. I guess.

How many wolves/Steeljaws are on screen at once in the greatest concentration?

Pretty sure they're cybertronians of some sort.

This film was making Cybertornians look really human. I think they were just generic Cybertronians, perhaps protoforms.

I also think so, probably because of that they have different size-versions and non-Cybertronian organic appearance - Lockdown set their bodies as he needed

I had a crazy thought that they were some kind of clones and Lockdown was once one of them. The Creators just take one and upgrade him when they need a good hunter (just look at how similar the henchmen look like Lockdown to begin with).
Of course, this is pure speculation on my part. I just would have liked to see more Lockdown, and him being a clone would be a way to bring him back.

Notice Lockdown's body and his henchmen have the same body type, I found that really interesting, also they are clearly sentient since they were able to fly the ship away after Lockdown died. The difference is I cant tell if they are cybertronian or not I think they are a mix, also why are people commenting about height differences, I thought it was pretty obvious that they just like regualr cybertronians had different heights. Some as tall as Lockdown others were slightly bigger then humans. It also helps establish the fact of the human sized gun on Lockdown's ship that Cade uses.

If humans can design smart phones that respond to voice commands can't Lockdown have drones that respond to orders instead of him pulling out RC controllers to move them around?
