What Kruger thought is irrelevant now.He's out of it. Yeah.It's funny when people said "They changed Primus with the Quintessons" when they were the original creators in G1.
Why does it have to be the quint’s ? I mean a new director could go in a different direction with the look and aesthetics of the film if Bay doesn’t return, If he did return again then Bay could choose to have them as something else and not conform to G1, which may not be a bad thing We don’t even know as that the aliens driving the ships are in fact the creators and could be just classed as soldiers who collected the metal for the creators to build and bring the transformers to life. I mean for all we know the new writing team could write that the creators have no affiliation with the quint’s and are acting on the own accord and have no tentacles or five faces or it could be a one creator who is at a higher supreme plane than everyone else and he controls the minions we seen in AOE to do his work for him in AOE
In terms of Live Action mythology the Allspark gave the Transformers life with Energon but it was the Creators who provided the material to create their bodies. The way I see it there is parallel of Vector Sigma and the Quintessons. Both can claim they are creators of Transformers but for all intent purposes they are co-creators.
