megatron transforms and flies off as a winged tank

you can see the fallen flying around quite a bit, would need to seein HD to tell what form he's in. the bit that is being talked about though, when he's arriving on the pyramid, is easy enough to see, he is in robot form flying head-first and just flips around rather than transforms (althogh he may have transformed immediately prior to the final warp), 1:16 here:

I was watching it just before i commented and couldn't see megs transform, if he did it makes him a triple changer. The Fallen could before he teleports just change his body pose

The prequel comics actually explained that the Primes, although the first Cybertronians, weren't Transformers. The Allspark created the Seekers afterwards as the first Transforming Cybertronians to go out and seek suns to harvest.

does anyone have it on blue ray? need some properly high res screen caps. Immediately before he lands on the pyramid you see him flying around in the sky quite a bit, a screen cap would settle the issue (far more so than comic references)

I didnt think he was supposed to be a Transformer, as he existed before transforming Cybertronians, right? Not all Cybertronians transform

all this stuff about him not transforming is from the comics, and therefore completely ignorable. if they want to have someone transform they'll have him transform, and not be beholden to something written in a low circulation prequel comic.

Go look up prime vs megatron vs fallen on YouTube, if you put it in full screen and try and pause it when the fallen is warping you notice he does kind of look like his destroyer mode and megatron isn't even in the warrping scene so it isn't him

Sadly its likely true... with the ability to teleport he really didn't need to Transformer. Heck, that's probably why they created spaceships like 'The Ark' in the first place in this version.

OK...I did my best to get some screen caps.

I think he DID transform ONCE.

I think he stole the matrix, Warped, and you see him fly like superman in the background, then he warps, comes back, TRANSFORMS, and then the scene switches to the Pyramid after sam screams. It looks like "some" Alt mode comes in from the far right side, Warps IN as his alt mode, and as he warps out, he is transforming out of his alt mode.

Call me crazy, but I just watched this shit and did screen caps for an hour.

I think he DID. Split second or not..

These are after he flew like superman, warped out, and warped in and you notice a shape shift, with this being the last frame I could get

This is what flys in from the right, its only a couple frames, and im not an editor so im not going to claim I know what im doing..but..THAT don't look like a robot flying like superman.

And then he warps back in, and in the electric cloud shit, it looks...NOT like a bot mode to me, and this is where I originally was questioning, saying "didn't he TF, and warp in, on top of the Pyramid??"

OK..I may be wrong.. I may be WAY off...but I just always thought he DID TF once in the movie, and everytime I hear on these, and other boards that he NEVER TF'd...I always scratched my head and wondered WTH I saw..

Those screen caps are proof. He does indeed transform.

    You're welcome. :)

I actually see the wings in the screen caps with Jetfire. Since I'm on my phone, I can enlarge the pictures even more, so, I see what you're referring to.

That's weird. I could've sworn I saw him transform as well.

Now that I think about it, it was probably just him teleporting...

Is it possible that the version I have, is missing frames? I ripped it from the dvd I just went out to buy, to try and.settle this in my head, I could not find the blue ray...

I know the blue ray would have a better resolution, but would it have more frames?

When he warps in to land on the pyramid, at the show, I really thought I seen a split second shot, coming out of the warp cloud, where you see the back of the jet "thing" mode..and his feet kinda way out back and to the sides, pointing to the outside of the centerline of the ship, but that frame, that is in my head, is not in this version.

It really seems like this version I have is missing every other frame, when I slowed it down. I have a buddy who is a professional editor, in Hollywood. I should ask him for help. He may be able to answer my question with his magic he does.

Mabye the theater version, has a lot more frames than a retail copy?

I'm kinda cursed with a photographic memory. I can, in my head, "open" certain text books from elementary school, and "read" paragraphs from image memory. I actually had to testify in a murder case, when I was in middle school. Kid, from holly MI, killed a girl in cold blood walking her dog on fish lake rd. I had happened to be at his house once, and he showed me the murder weapon before he used it for the crime, and I had to close my eyes, and virtually recall my every step, leading to the cops finding where he his the weapon, even though he tried to dispose of it in a school dumpster in a guitar case.

I'm just saying, I have a good memory for frame by frame stuff..I swear there's more I seen about the fallen tfing.

Mabye my editor buddy can help me. I just want to settle this, because I LOVE the voyager, and I really thought I seen it in the movie.
