Who would be a great leader after Optimus

    I'm going to throw a wild theory out there. What if...at the end of AOE, before Optimus leaves Earth from the audio we heard, we see another spaceship entering Earths atmosphere and land near the final battle of the movie. The remaining functioning Autobots gear up for another conflict, and out comes: Rodimus, Ultra Magnus, Kup, Blurr, and Springer. Of course it could be any combination of Autobots but, those we be my choices.

    NOOO! Not Bumblebee leading the Autobots, anybody but Bumblebee.

    Okay, now that I'm done with that, I'll actually give an opinion. I would like to see Ultra Magnus take charge and be the leader for once instead of Bumblebee or Hot Rod.

    He has his fans (and I am guessing that you are one of them), but they have been trying to "replace" Optimus with Hot Rod since 1986 and it's just not working.

    Grimlock is the obvious choice based on the cast as I know it, but with Bay who knows what will happen?

    Grimlock without a doubt. But we all know its gonna be Bee. Just like the end of the '86 movie Bee will be with a small team of autobot survivors and the Dinobots.

    I would not be at all surprised if Bumblebee gets his voice back and becomes a Rodimus-like character in movies 5 and 6. His movie incarnation is essentially hotrod already, so it would probably work quite well.

    It'd also give Hasbro a way to release all-new Bumblebee toys post AoE. Bee wouldn't look half bad as his Prime self turning into something like a GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe, both of which just got redesigned. Fullsize pickups would work well too, so Silverado or Sierra.

    As much as I'd love to say Hound or Grimlock, (based solely on me liking Grimlock in general and Hounds design) obviously we don't know enough about either character to say they deserve leadership. It pains me to say it but if Hasbro do bring in a new leader, we should know chances are it'll be Bumblebee. To be fair to them however, BB makes the most sense considering he's been their throughout the movies
