The Wulong shooting has been successfully completed. Michael Bay, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Ian Bryce and the rest of the production crew already arrived to Beijing and started principal shooting of the Great Wall.

After the Great Wall shooting, "Transformers 4" crew will continue to Tianjin, the fourth largest metropolis in China, located in north China, the planned shooting locations include the Grand Theatre and the city airport, and then back to Beijing to continue filming.

To go some city and film there, yeah, that's cool, but these movies have clearly given Micheal and much of his crew once in life time opportunities.

it really feels like this movie is going to be a lot longer than Bay originally said.

I so want to see a scene with Swoop landing on the Great Wall or another Dinobot running through it. Or what if the Great was was actually built over a large pipe line that feeds Energon to something lol

Hi Tony! As I'm sure you're aware of the skill, with which editors can make a movie seem longer, than it actually is.
For example, let's say you've just come to the point of the forest battle in ROTF for the first time, your interest, perhaps adrenaline is up, and what you've just seen was very exciting . . . what comes after that in the movie seems almost dull in comparison . . . if there were no robot scenes at all after the fight (like Megatron being mad at Starscream on top of the Met Life building), you'd literally be totally bored, and the film would just drag.
In another example, if the story is changing locations -- the director can chose to show a montage of exterior, establishing shots for lets say twenty seconds, paired with a mellow soundtrack, can really sell the idea to a viewer's brain, that some significant time has passed from what came before this montage, to what follows it. Several days, sometimes hours -- and that can be enough to make you believe the movie is longer than it is.
Sorry if my cumbersome explanation is totally uncalled for, as I'm sure you know the movie process quite well. All I'm trying to convey, is that a film can have a decently short run, but still feel a little longer, than it actually is (with DOTM I think it feels just the opposite though). You are right though, this production is rather lengthy, and elaborate . . . we shall see what we are actually getting come next summer :)  Can't wait!

Oh I'm well aware of what goes into the making of a movie like this. I guess its more or less te fact that we have actually been able to follow the making of this one from start to finish and actually get to see most of the locations being filmed in, it really sets in just how much can actually be in this movie. Now I know that 2 to 4 weeks worth of filming is all but 35 to 40 minutes of a movie. But I'm totally loving the filming locations in this one.

    Majestic locations to shoot.

And it's a shame that Chrysler limo can't be a Transformer (it looks to be a mere transport for Bingbing), it's got such swag to it.
