So I just to thinking about how Hounds personality would be like. for starters we can all assume that Hound will basically take the place of Ironhide. I think I remember hearing somewhere that he is an old timer, what if they make him old and silly ala Jetfire from ROTF. I just hope he is wise old and not farting and falling apart. I more see him as Bulkheads personality from TFP. Or with the beard make him like a viking lol. What do you guys think what he will be like.
I am sick of Bulkhead, I dont want Hound being like Bulkead at all. I want Hound to be the disciplined warrior and muscle of the group and somewhat of leader to the autobots, not someone who is clumsy, and a dumbass like Bulkhead.

I really wish they would have kept him as a Jeep..... Hound's character could easily have been altered to make a better one. In G1, Hound was originally meant to be the "human friendly" character that Spike hung out with, but audiences preferred Bumblebee during the MtMtE. So we kind of got stuck with happy/fuzzy Hound even though his character slot got filled by Bumblebee. I would have liked to see a Jeep hound (not that horrific red THING that some fan brought to the RotF set). His character could have been switched from scout to scout/sniper. That role would have fit his original abilities extremely well.
This. But we already have a Bee for the "human liason" role, so maybe he willl be a military second-in-command type, sort of Ironhide's successor.
Guessing he is going to be along the lines of a younger Kup - he'll no doubt be a weapons expert to replace Ironhide - honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was meant to be Kup in an original draft - as his face was likely the one with the pipe we've seen.
Eh, my post was not well typed out. I was TRYING to say that they could have just excised the rest of Hound's "friendly" character and bring him full over into warrior, but that he still be a scout...just with "sniper" added to the end of it. Plus I really wanted a Jeep transformer
Even camper than that. I was thinking of Hound as a 'Screaming Queen' type. Or maybe Graham Norton could voice him or (genius notion) Alan Carr.
It would be neat if Hound is like Nicholas St North AKA Santa Claus from Rise of the Guardians. Tough but at the same time a warm soul.
