That director that everyone likes at the moment. I hear he's good. Even though he made that one really crappy movie and has that one big storytelling flaw.

I don't care at this point. All I care about is that one director in Hollywood actually does justice to this franchise in a respectable and fun manner. .

Kevin Smith?!?! Don't get me wrong, I adore the chubby bearded fucker, but directing a mahoosive budget sci fi action film? Are you getting him mixed up with Peter Jackson?

My vote goes for Neill Blomkamp (District Nine, Elysium)

Going to keep all my replies in this post...

    - Zack Snyder uses too much slow-mo and his close shots are almost as bad as Bay's
    - Kevin smith hasn't done any films I've seen - honestly doesn't seem like the action film sort of person.
    - JJ Abrams uses way too much lense flare and shaky cam, scenes in Star Trek are shot badly
    - James Camron is heavily over-rated and his films take ages to come out and are mostly gross miss-representations of what it was based.
    - Joss Whedon handles characters well - however wants to stay truer to the comics (As shown with Avengers) and as such would likely end up having direct adaptions of prior material.

Out of your choices, Joss Whedon is probably the best as we would at least get characters and good filming.

His only film of a similar genre has been Pacific Rim - and while the fight scenes were good the characters were incredibly bland as a result.

    Your language is appalling...

As for Neill Blomkamp - his two contributions listed are even worst than Bays - forcing sci-fi plots around problems with society giving us badly edited and shaky cam filled fight sequences and overall very weak and forgettable films.

Other than Real Steel he's done nothing in a similar genre and honestly Real Steel was just a Rocky film with Robots.

Swearing on the forums can get you banned - I'm only warning you before it happens - I would suggest removing it from your post.

I don't want him to leave, his series is the one I look the most forward to.

And if anyone says its sarcasm, it's not, I'm in a crappy mood and don't feel like starting another discussion.

They all blow gigantic cocks. Name somebody worth a look. That's right though, there isn't anyone. You're a goddamned idiot if you think Joss whedon or Jar Jar Abraham could be bothered with transforrmers. Hey I like you guys though.
