I would wait on it being 100% .. a lot of that report could have been lost in translation. he may have said (when questioned about the Dinobots)

"I can't go into specifics, however if the Dinobots were in this film it would give the Audience excitement."


like I said he may have slipped up or it could be misinformation or like I said lost in translation ...

if he has slipped up, which by now Bay will know .... an announcement will be round the corner

 

Am not keen on the Dinobots, and could care less about the cars.

More interested to see what other Decepticons there are, hopefully with some unique (non-car) alternate modes.

 

Does that mean there'll be even more licensed figures that I'll be compelled to buy? lol

 

So, will Hasbro still manage to find a way not to make Dinobot toys? 

 

I think Bay already knows that a lot of us know. He let someone come up and take a picture of the hat design didn't he? She even kinda posed for the picture...
Also she could have stopped the picture taker and made him delete it

 

No I didn't. I don't actually care that there will be a new set of cars that transform into dinosaurs... if they even do that. There is no confirmation that there will be robots that turn into dinosaurs in the movie. There was a confirmation that we would have "dinobots". For Bay movies that probably means robot dinosaurs that turn into cars, or old robots that transform into old cars that get called "dinobots" the same way you call an old person a dinosaur. All we have here is confirmation of what we already know. That there are "Dinobots" in the movie and that the movie is apparently for "car enthusiasts" because as I said before, you know it's a good "Transformers" movie when you feel like your watching a g*dd*mn auto show parade.

 

I bloody well hope not. Up until DOTM I really couldn't see them working in the movieverse, but four movies in feels about the right time for them, and after TFP's take on the Predacons I'm actually looking forward owning some Bayified dinos!

 

Exactly my point... if bay wanted to keep it a secret they would not have the hats on. as the dinobots would clearly be a CGI only.

however if he wanted to piss people off with Mis-information then he would gladly let people take pictures of the hats

 

this is Bay we are talking about. the man who said Megatron would not be in ROTF, who said the twins were not in DOTM (Although you clearly see them driving in with the other autobots)

If people are thinking the Chinese influence being forced down our throats is this movie has to do with anything other than $$$, you are mistaken. Simple case of another Hollywood movie sucking up to the overbearing Chinese government in order to get the movie in their (sometimes) lucrative market.

This has been going on for years but finally really hit the news with iron Man 3 this summer.

Can't wait to see them, Everyday I dream of what they would look like, Movie and toy.

 

The misinformation for saying Megatron was not in ROTF was obviously to try and create some kind of element of surprise/suspense, though of the relese of the toys and other merchandise pretty much buggered that up lol As for the Twins, yes we're all aware the cars intended for them appeared a for a few seconds, but seriously, they never actually transformed into robots so it really is just splitting hairs to say Skids or Mudflap as characters appeared in DOTM. We know they got cut from the script part way through filming, the cars themselves are just cars at the end of the day, there are Chevrolet Sparks in the world that aren't Autobots. I mean it's not as if every F-22 in TF1 was Starscream...
