I can see it being hound if hes some type of viking warrior character, but the beard really has me stumped. If hound was a military type vet, I would think hed have a clean shaven look

Well this is true, just a pity that character appears to require a certain type of look. I think he looks more like Captain Birdseye, or Uncle Albert from Only Fools & Horses (he just needs the catchphrase 'during the war') lol

Now my mind is going crazy trying to debunk this as Hound. What IF its that rusty cab truck, that we think is Optimus? Or maybe that new looking cab that we think is ultra magnus/motormaster? I know we've seen hound and bee's cars ONLY on set, but there are obviously other robots there in robot form. Just something to speculate.

I'm going to have to guess that that's Hound, because they're filming in Detroit and other than Bumblebee Hound it the only Transformer there so far.
