So less than a year to go before TF4 hits the big screen. Bay has said that this will be his last, although he keeps coming back. In the event that this is Bays last Transformers film, and that they intend to make a 4th and 5th installment to complete the 2nd trilogy....who are some directors you would like to see take on the project and why?

Me personally, I want to see a dark transformers film. Really I just want a movie about TRANSFORMERS with some human CO-stars.

But I think it would be cool to get Christopher Nolan's take on Transformers. I know some would say I'm a fool but given his past work I think he could totally take this on and possibly make it into something that all the hardcore fans would love....or at least a mojority lol

I'd like a young director who wasn't so set in his ways. Someone that still has that boldness to take chances instead of playing it too safe.

People I'd love to see on these movies:
Guillermo del Toro-Hellboy 2, Pans Labyrinth, Pacific Goddamned Rim
Robert Rodriguez-Spy Kids, From Dusk til Dawn, Desperado, Machete
James Cameron-Avatar, Titanic, Terminator 2, Aliens
Peter Jackson-King Kong, Lord of the Rings
Kevin Smith-Clerks, Dogma, Red State

people i'd want kept as far away from the franchise as humanly goddamned possible, even if it means we're stuck with Bay:
Uwe Boll: Bloodrayne 2, Alone in the Dark, Dead or Alive
Joel Schumacher: Batman and Robin
M Night Shamylan: The Village, The Last Airbender
George Lucas: Stars Wars Prequels.
I make Youtube reviews, they are slowly getting better, please Rate, Comment, and Subscribe folks

James Cameron or Peter Jackson would make nothing short of a classic but thats just my opinion

J.J. Abrams....hmmm, never thought about that...I think that would actually be cool

Christopher Nolan...I'm telling ya'll.....I feel he would bring the franchise to exactly where I want to see it go...there wouldn't be any unneeded dry ass humor, I know he'd focuse on the characters the core fans want to see brought to life, not to mention he'd make them all bad ass. Last but not least, we'd get some REAL tragedy with a Nolan Transformers film. I'm talking all out chaos, Autobots getting blown away, and a more complex interaction with the decepticons instead of big metal aliens that all look alike and never say a word. Then if you could bring in Del Toro...smh...I believe they'd make a hell of a Transformers movie imo

I'd say Abrams could do a pretty great job, after seeing Star Trek. And everyone's already so pissed off about the way Bay handled the lore, I'm sure even if he threw in some surprise twist like in ST, we'd all be on board.

I actually wouldn't mind Speilberg taking his own shot at the franchise. He had his hands buried into the first one, which is what I think made is as decent as it was, so I'd love to see him do his own thing.
