Yea, true. I don't think they would post there characters names on their for everyone to see. I don't think the actors would go looking for their characters names on the trailers.
I also wan to point out that I checked every actor actress that were in the past 3 movies and th only one who says on his wiki page that hes back is Tyeres. If he does come back, that will be 2 fast and furious cast members. Might as well bring them all on lol.
Wiki. Wikipedia. Doesn't count for anything. Tyrese has a chance of coming back for a cameo, that's it. Nothing else. Hey, that 'Now You See Me' film has two cast members from the Batman trilogy. Might has well get Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Liam Neeson in too.
I know it doesn't count for anything. But his does say transformers 4 so we will have to keep our eyes open.
There were a few more trailers I didnt post pics of. That little lady in red kept kicking me out of camp. Wahlberg was held up in a trailer with the name tag of Cade for awhile.
Micheal Bay always uses fake names on Call Sheets though. But since "Shane" is written on the car... well...
If Bay had gotten his way we would have had Dwayne Johnson from the first film. Bay had a gut feeling that the Rock was going to take off as an action star but Spielberg over ruled him. After the number of weeks that the Rock had a top ten movie at the US box office it seems like Bay's gut feeling was right on that one and Spielberg was wrong.
Ultimately though, I don't think Hasbro would like go have The Rock as two of their big stars for two seperate franchises. Especially if we ever did get a cross over down the road.
With GI Joe 3 green lit already and the Rock ending up as the action figure Hasbro seems to be pressing hard with the movie brand I think you are right that Hasbro would rather leave the Rock with GI Joe. Just not sure that we will ever get a cross over. Sure Marvel had an insane amount of success crossing over their films but other brands still don't seem to have that boldness to jump on the cross over band wagon. Just look at poor DC having to wait to see if Man of Steel can give them a huge hit that isn't Batman and how to fix Batman in when they seem unsure about which direction to go with live action Batman next.
