I was expecting Bulkhead,but I'm cool with Hound. I have a feeling this might be the whole wheeljack/Que thing with it looks like Bulkhead,it sounds like Bulkhead, it acts like Bulkhead,(it's essentially movie Bulkhead) but it's called Hound. I'm cool with it,I/m just sayin'. Shrug.

I was actually thinking about the possibility of the names being "misinformation" and that the actual ones used in film might be different.

And then I thoguht about how we heard that one of the autobots will be depicted as a "lone samurai" type, which sounds like Drift, but then I also thought of TF Prime Wheeljack. (Remember, the bot in TF3 was officially named Que.)

Then I looked at the rest of the line up, and if you make the Military Truck Bulkhead and the Vett Smokescreen you roughly have the current TV show cast of autobots. (Sans Arcee, who's dead in the movieverse.)

This could all be complete speculative BS, and in fact...It is. But it was still a thought that crossed my mind that I thought worth sharing at least.

 

Like the continuity is going to stop them.

Well, I also get the feeling Bay didn't care for the whole fembot thing too much.
He even said the reson why they died in ROTF is because he didn't really like them. So there's that.

 

The big fat truck mode makes me think Bulkhead and I'm a Bulk fan, so I might say I would prefer Bulkhead, but I don't mind that it's Hound. I don't expect the movie character to be much like Hound or Bulkhead I know. Both are nice guys at heart, and I'm guessing Movie guy will probably be an R. Lee Ermey drill sergeant caricature, killing nameless Decepticons in groups with comically oversized guns while cussing them out.

 

I voted Hound, can't stand Bulkhead anymore, hated him in animated, and super hated him in prime. Never liked a clumsy brute .

 

Hardhead or GTFO.

 

I just want to say, I think its real funny how in the so called leaked script that was on the net a while back, when OP mentions the new Autobots that are there... He mentions Brawn and there is a ? After Brawns name as if when written... It may not stay that name.

And later in the script Brawn is just mentioned as a large green military truck lol

 

I could probably live with that. I know that's a certain degree of hypocrisy since I want Hound to remain as much like his G1 self as possible, but - well - I'm a complicated person.

Bulkhead! I was really hoping he'd be in it. I even put him in a fan script I wrote.

I hope the military truck ends up being bulkhead. We have seen the name changing before (ultra magnus in dotm). To me hound should be a new Jeep Wrangler.

 

I prefer Bulkhead. He is stronger than Hound.

 

I don't care as long as the toy has the name hound and has a us relase unlike two certian figures I'm looking at you Que/wealjack and Soundwave

 

I love G1 but that vehicle says Bulkhead to me.

 

I think we've seen enough of Bulkhead through TFP & TFA. Even though I like Bulkhead in both, I would like to see how they would recreate Hound.
