I think it'd make for a good credits gag to just have him sitting somewhere, bored off his ass. Maybe have him look at every yellow car that goes by and hope it's the call to action and then look sad.
Please no! He has already stolen the spotlight from who were supposed to be the real stars. I would gladly take 90 minutes of screentime for Optimus Prime over this loser anyday.
The Allspark stuff moved from Sam to the Matrix of Leadership when he came back to life. That's presumably why it had the power to bring back Optimus and Sentinel.
It would be funny if, as a giant TF walks past a low camera shot, we see something stuck to the bottom of his foot that vaguely looks like a piece of old pink chewing gum. As the TF turns to walk away we realise it's actually an accidentally squished Sam. TF (scraping his foot along the ground): "Hey, whatever happened to that annoying human guy that used to hang around with us?"
They should probably tie up what happened to Sam somewhere in Bumblebee's narrative strand to the film.
I think he should make a cameo (or at least be referenced) in the coming movie for no other reason than no one can complain about why he and Bumblebee aren't boyz anymore isn't addressed.
I agree. This was the gist of his personality and it really made it hard to like him. I am glad he won't be back, although I'm scared Bay will not be able to resist the temptation to make the next character a horny douchebag, just so he could include the obligate panty shots.
lol I knew most people didn't like Sam, but I had no idea he was this hated. I didn't mind his antics in the first film, but over 3 it does get old fast. I could see that happening. Maybe not for 4, but if they make another in the same universe. Maybe he'll be in a bar and tell someone to f%^* off.
