how would a live action metroplex work? |

| Autobot Join Date: Dec 2012 Posts: 77 Collection Count: 200+ | how would a live action metroplex work? Ive been on a metroplex high lately, im not sure how a live action version could work. I think they could take an autobot city angle, but i dont know how well that would work in the bayverse |

Not to mention kind of unrealistic. Metroplex is cool but that amount of work that the CGI workers would have to do to create such a character would be insane! I think there are some characters that just wouldn't work in the movie verse. Metroplex being one of them. Problem with him would be because he's so collossal, it would be difficult to use him effectively such that he's actually relevant to the story but not a completely one-sided, overwhelming force with no tension or counterforce. And even then, you have to worry about how to relate him to the other characters in terms of the size and power difference. And then there's the cost of animating him and making it look good. Best case scenario for me? Maybe a flashback scene where autobots and decepticons are fighting in the ruins of a cybertronian city, and then it turns out that they weren't just "ruins" but a living cybertronian, who is still functional... ![]() |
