i know the twins were cut out of the final edit of dotm and they were meant to die and most everyone who wishes they were in the movie wants them to die. but how would you use the in the movie if they weren't killed.

for me, i would have them, jolt, and arcee(just arcee, no sisters) show up with the other autobots when they reappeared in Chicago. when sam questions where they were earlier, it would reveal that they were undercover oversees and so weren't able to be exiled from the US like the others. they would then just disappear and reappear throughout the chicago battle and be standing with the others at the end.

what are ways you would use them in the movie, OTHER THAN THEIR KNOWN DEATHS.

I guess I'd have them get killed by Shockwave instead. Shockwave might as well get to kill someone before he gets his shit Optimused.

 

 

Have them be targets for racism accusations. That's new and exciting, right?

Oh, and I'd have them be the main characters. Man I should be the director of the next TF movie.

Well if I had been in charage, I'd have made them different characters back in ROTF

Skids would have been voiced by Steve Buscemi and depicted as a sort of know it all who claims to have all the answers.

Probably have Kevin Michael Richardson voice Mudflap as a over enthusiastic Brawler type. "Yeah, lets punch something!"
Mudflap would still be kind of a doofus, but with less of the "urban" slant. His answer to everything would be to smash it. To which Skids would usually always have to tell him no.

Then I'd have then return in DOTM and basically end up with Wheelie and Brain's heroic moment of taking down the Decepticon ship.

Ok, I was wondering what happened, I watched DOTM the other night and couldn't for the life of me remember how they died in ROTF.

Makes me feel not old now.

 

Since I'm a Twins supporter, I'd have them appear in the background goofing off until Chicago, where I'd put them in Wheelie and Brains' place: come across a Con gunship and use it to sneak into a cruiser, where they hijack and crash the ship during the prisoners scene. Last seen, swimming away... (which I never understood why Wheelie and Brains weren't seen doing)

They actually didn't die. They fought off Devastator, complained a bit when they fell off and that's it.

 

what would I change? Nothing, there deaths were in DOTM book. you cant change that. They should been in the movie despite their reception in ROTF. I think their death might actually made people care about them.

 

Damn can't kill them, well that cuts out my first 127 ideas.

Could we borrow something from Star Wars and freeze them in Carbonite? Then forget to ever thaw them out as they get left in the warehouse from the first Indiana Jones movie.

How about they get into human movies and decide to be like Harpo Marx or Silent Bob.

No wait every time they go to say something one of the Autobots slap them to keep them from saying anything.

Um, those ideas still leave those god awful head designs so maybe the films needed Head Masters and bond them with someone that isn't going to take their want to be gangster ways.

 

If a couple of asshole idiots die, they'll still be asshole idiots. They'll just be asshole idiots that I have a fleeting moment of sympathy for. Killing off a character doesn't make people care about them.

Personally, I'd have treated them the same way as in ROTF. I would have let them pick a fight against something far tougher than them, like with Devastator, and then people would laugh, and think "I wonder how they'll get out of this one."

And then I would kill them off, to show that in a warzone, that's what stupidity does. Get you killed.

 

Maybe have one killed when Prime first fights Shockwave and the other die in the last battle. Sentenal would not have waisted time shooting them when he turned evil.
Also, they should have shown Soundwave use his sound attack to catch the Autobots. That would have helped make some sense of that situation.

I'd have used the Twins in Chernobyl-they would be Prime's contact in Russia and would help track down the former Russian Astronaut. Though they'd probably be WAY different characters [ie; actually funny]

 

It's how they died that might've made people like them more. Skips sacrificed himself to save Bumblebee from Sentinel then Mudflap tries to avenge his brother.

 

There isn't a death out there that would make it worth putting up with them again and having their toys all the shelves.
