Since it's hard to search these forums for images, can people please post the concept art(s) and images of Wheeljacque?
The change of the k to que is so that both names are accounted for but it is still pronounced Wheeljack.
I caught that. I'm still going to pronounce it with a soft j and q sound. Now I'm picturing him as a cantankerous old habitant puttering around in his workshop. "Tabernaque! Maudite Decepticons, dees poms'll show dem!" But here, there's some wheeljacque concept art here (among a ton of others): http://www.aaron-sims.com/portfolio-character.php
Actually I just came across this: Project A- Saab Aero X Saab Aero-X Debuts in Transformers Sequel – 2009 | Saab History http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-fan-art/244982-movie-wheeljack.html I wish Wheeljack had been the Saab, and that he'd been more insane and that he'd survived. But if wishes were tears, then the world would be a flood. Forgot about the Saab. If that he been Wheeljack, then that more dwarvish design would have worked very well.
Ooooh, nice Wheeljacks, Ra88. I quite like that one who has the spindly appendages sticking out of his back.
I believe these are all concepts. I would've liked the E63 AMG more than the E550, since the E63 is essentially the C-class DTM Touring Car engine stuffed into a civilian chassis.
On Ben Procter's concepts (close to original) he even quite handsome And he is very similar to Al. Einstein
Yeah, they're all concepts I managed to find. I may be dubious on the movies, but I'm a damn hoarder for all the concept art.
Yeah that was a real missed opportunity there. It's just one of those things I file under 'far too good to actually happen'.
Okay, I just checked up on it and apparently the Saab Jack was first prize in a design contest. But that's all I got. Does anyone know why it wasn't used, if it was a first prize? And is there a CGI render of that design?
