We Got To Have, Money! - YouTube

Dear hasbro, you can make triple the amount you make on the films by reducing the cost and simply producing a CGI tv show with constant recurring characters and little to no new characters - Transformers Prime. Simply produce more episodes of Transformers Prime. Cost effective strategy dictates that when a movie series such as Transformers has been going on for more than 5 years it alienates new people interested in the series - reboot it :p

don't miss it at all, and i hope some one fires bay already,

no one in the history of movies has disrespected a franchise so drasticly.
the guy doesn't even have a basic knowledge of transformers... he only knows that prime turns into a truck.

watched all the 3 movies with a disgusted face... i mean the SAM AND HER HOOKER GIRLFRIEND ADVENTURES AND SOME ROBOTS IN THE BACK GROND 1 2 AND 3.

didn't even bother buying any of the toys, i only got bumblebee and 2 of the wreckers and that was that.

i'm fine with my comics and prime thanks.

I'm not that fussed. Even when the movies hit cinemas I wait until I can buy the home release really cheap to see them for the first time so it's not like I'm climbing the walls and counting the seconds like some kind of Spider-Man with a stopwatch.
Mostly a new movie is only really good for the entertainment the drama of discussion brings us here. That's always more entertaining than watching the actual movies themselves.

So the movie could come out tomorrow or in ten years time. Makes barely any difference to me. Maybe if the movies were being made by someone other than Bay I'd be more anxious for the time to go by quicker, but they're not and I'm not.
Indeed. Look at how the influx of all that BayFormers money has improved the quality of the toys over the last few years...

I miss the hype and constant news and spoilers a bit, but given how similar the three films were in the end, I'm okay with a break.

Hopefully Bay is really taking the film in a bit of a new direction and the robots have a slightly different style and/or cast. I won't be able to get very excited if it's another identical movie with near-identical toys again.

I have mixed feelings on it but Hasbro can keep the figures in their warehouse for sure and not release them. There is a part of me that wants to see a new movie. Then their is a part of me that could care less about it cause I know Micheal Bay is in charge of another TF movie he can have huge blow ups and make fun of with jokes in the film which I don't like.

    I'm loving the break.

Memories of movie Starscream seem to be fading for people so Starscream from Transformers Prime is getting the chance to be the version of Starscream for people right now.

Without movie toys on the shelves there is a chance for Hasbro to put out more interesting things like the Fall of Cybertron figures.

You don't have to deal with as many people that insult people for loving or not loving the movies. Not as many posts about how Micheal Bay is the one and only thing keeping the brand alive.

It's also nice that any disappointments I have with Transformers are so minor right now instead of the big let down of the movie Decepticons.

The only things I'm really missing are the Transformers Animated cartoon and Earth mode Generations figures.

No, can't say I miss them. Three movies with tons of Bumblebee's and other figures shoved down our throats. I think it's rather nice having a break.

Really the only reason I'd want another movie is to get more scout figures.

Except we didn't get any Scouts from the DotM line. Apart from maybe Hatchet, who was the most Scout-y thing we got. Otherwise the nearest thing to Scouts was just Cyberverse Commanders. Unless I missed the Scouts. I did skip huge parts of the DotM toyline.

Edit: I forgot about the HA Basics. Ignore me - I'm old and senile and probably smell slightly of urine and Werther's Originals.

I don't miss the movies but I miss the toys. I miss intricately sculpted complex robots that transform into real things.

It's my fault too. Since Hasbro keeps changing scale and class names I pretty much lump anything between the Legends and deluxe class as scouts.

It will help differentiate the two trilogies more, and will make it seem like it's been a greater time between films, much like is planned in canon.

I for one will be all the more grateful when it finally comes.

Mixed feelings. I'm skeptical of this "new trilogy" thing Bay supposedly has going. At the same time, this could always another be one of the writers', and Bay's, chances of not making screw ups in the films so that they won't be ridiculed so much.

That kept me laughing for a good few hours :lol  Other than the first two years the movie-verse toys have been a lower quality.

Remembers, these are just joking about the series and not serious knocks at it
