I have mixed feelings. Mostly, I'm glad that the crew has taken a little break until and that Bay finally got to make Pain and Gain. Without having to rush the movie out for a 2013 release, there will be more time to polish up the script and make a good movie. I'm in the camp that there should have been three years between the all the movies (ROTF had the writer's strike and I think they rushed into DOTM too fast). On the other hand, I enjoy the heck out of these movies and watching a new one always brings me back to my childhood.

I'm missing something. Prime has none of my love, MTMTE is once a month, and regardless is the only thing TF I'm into now. I want another movie so I can shift my focus back to the robots in disguise again. On the plus side, the break is great for collecting lines I usually would not have because I'd be collecting Transformers.

Look, they have their place, but I voted that I don't miss them. Right now there's plenty to be excited about, and I feel when the movies are around they suck all the oxygen out of the room and crowd out everything else.

I've defended Bay and don't think the movies are the worst thing ever, but I'm at a point where a stop is good. We'll collect ourselves, enjoy a cartoon or two, and then someone will hopefully take the movies in a different direction which may be good or bad.

I would be sad if there was never another movie series, but I'd rather wait 4 or 5 years.
