i'll just post my first movie's cast for now. the rest would take too long, lol.

    Movie 1:

    Autobots:
Optimus Prime (standard movie design) - Matrix bearer who promises to fight tyranny wherever it may take him. 28'
Ironhide (standard movie design) - Weapons specialist who loves the thrill of the fight and will do anything if it means getting to bust chops. 21'
Ratchet (standard movie Ratchet with DOTM 'Specialist' deco and a more G1-styled head) - Chief medic of the Autobots who hides his fear of combat from everybody. 21'
Jazz(standard movie design) - a jive-talking Autobot and Optimus Prime's second in command and espionage expert. 14'
Hot Rod (movie Bumblebee with Massive Black's concept Hot Rod head and in orange) - a young, spry Autobot that wants to serve his planet and spread the message of freedom across the universe. Befriends Sam Witwicky. 17'
Blurr (DOTM Evac's design) - a fast-talking Autobot that's quick on the battlefield and off. Loves the sound of his own voice but lets his arrogance get the best of him sometimes. 14'
Hoist (ROTF Hoist) - Expert fighter and rookie medic - once was a Wrecker. 15'
Wheeljack (movie-styled Prime design) - Autobot engineer whose inventions tend to blow up in his face (literally), with a heart of gold that would die for his friends

    Decepticons:
Megatron (DOTM design in dark gray and black with movie Wreckage's head) - pursued the Allspark but imprisoned on Earth for millenia, freed from his prison due to help from the other Decepticons. 38'
Starscream (standard movie design) - Second-in-command and air commander of the Decepticons who has an unhealthy lust for leadership. 52'
Soundwave (ROTF Gathering at the Nemesis design with red visor (first mode), movie Payload with ROTF Soundwave head (second mode)) - Communications expert that implements sound and frequencies into his attacks. Expert spy and infiltrationist. 24' (first mode) 27' (second mode)
Bonecrusher (standard movie design) - Bitter, angry, and a downright mean fighter. Part of the Constructicons but got separated from them and came to Earth in hopes of finding them and Megatron. 22'
Demolishor (HFTD Hailstorm in tan with a Movie-styled Armada Demolishor head) - A loyal military expert that loves blowing stuff up, but has reservations about hurting the innocent. 25'
Dirge (ROTF Dirge design) - An unlucky Decepticon that's always caught in between a rock and a near-death place. 26'
Blackout (standard movie design) - A hulking Decepticon that could give Soundwave a run for his money in the loyalty department. 60'
Barricade (standard Movie design) - A Decepticon that loves to play tricks and cause damage at the same time. 17'
Frenzy and Rumble (movie Meantime and Meantime repainted in red and black) - After a freak accident involving Nucleon, these twins gained the ability to change their size at will, but they can only grow to the size they were when they were contaminated with Nucleon. Work with Soundwave as his eyes and ears where he can't be, using their size-changing abilities to get almost anywhere they'd like. 8' each

    Neutral:
Sky-Byte (original design) - An Allspark creation that was accidentally created during the battle of Los Angeles when the Allspark hit a mechanical shark prop from the movies Jaws. Has a love of haiku and comedy. 30'

    How I would make a TF Movie;
    1. Bring in the Pretenders and introduce a 'Cold War' scenario where the Autobots and Decepticons are fighting over classified information right under the noses of mankind.
    2. Or have the first movie be set on Cybertron, whereas the second movie would be set on Earth. It could be a retelling of G1 where it chronicles the final days of the Great War on Cybertron, before it then spreads to Earth in time for the second movie.
    3. Or alternatively, take the Beast Wars Neo/James Roberts approach and introduce a small crew of Autobots travelling across the galaxy in search for energon deposits. It would be like Star Trek, with transforming robots.

In regards to my movie reboot, see the first page.

I might want to add new robot characters with names that have been used before or with new names into my movie reboot.

But I would have to be careful if I created some racial stereotype.:rolleyes2

Nope, just the idea popped into my mind. I see 'movie scripts' I do in the form of movies in my mind, its a weird sort of clarity I have >< Though I realise I did mention something similar on the first page (involving Energon as the main thing both sides are fighting for) - which easily led room for multiple sequels. However, I feel the 'Omega key' plot I did is a bit better than that. Either way. If it was just one movie, I'd have the Decepticons win.

Base it off of War Within, Last Stand of the Wreckers, Stormbringer, Megatron: Origins, or All Hail Megatron.

I'd probably first have the movie set in a kind of pseudo futuristic modern world. Think of the Marvel movie universe.

The plot starts with humans discovering a mysterious new crystallized energy source growing in the earths crust. Excavation of which being headed by a father and son team, Sam and Spike(Sam Jr) Witwicky.

This leads into the human characters meeting the Autobots, who would explain that they came from a war torn planet and how because of a mishap with a damaged space bridge, when trying to flee their dieing world, were scattered randomly across the universe. Originally the Autobots were on earth trying to regroup, but now are investigating why energon would be growing here.

Simultaneously, the Decepticons would also be on earth for similar reasons.
Megatron however believes that the presence of energon on earth is linked to the Allspark. Which was lost to them during the space bridge mishap. Megatron has in fact been scouring the universe for the missing pieces, that of which he has found so far he keeps chained around his neck at all times.

The Autobots eventually venture deep into the earths crust to find that the source of the energon is in fact coming from the Allspark. Or at least half of it. Which they also find with the body of their long lost leader, Optimus Prime, currently in a state of stasis lock. Upon being revived Optimus explains that the space bridge accident that had scattered them accross the universe was cause when Megatron broke the Allspark in a attempt to take it from Optimus.

So of course Megatron tries to get the remaining chunk of Allspark from Optimus, big final battle scene, yadda yadda yadda...Open ending for sequel with Megatron presumed dead, but his seemingly inactive body being seized by a group of humans lead by a rather shady individual only being referred to as Mr Black. Later to be revealed as Stan Z Black. Head of Zarak Industries.

    Primary cast of Transformers:

    Autobots:

Prowl (Acting as temporary leader before finding Prime.)
    Bumblebee
    Cliffjumper
    Ironhide
    Ratchet
    Wheeljack
    Optimus Prime

    Decepticons:

    Megatron
    Starscream
Soundwave (Along with Ravage and Laserbeak.)
    Blitzwing
Barricade (Acting as a vehicon general.)

Cut back on the attempts at childish humor.

There will be humans, but they won't be the focus. Expect roughly 3 human protagonists. A human teenager, an everyman type working adult, and a member of the military. A student, a professional, and a soldier provide 3 different worldviews when they interact with the Cybertronians. The working adult finds companionship with the Autobots, the soldier sides with the Decepticons (out of a belief that they are right), and the teen strattles the fence.

Cybertron is a living world in a constant war, not a dead planet.

Autobots are civilians who became rebels, and are not warriors. Decepticons are military. This shows when the Decepticons appear to be very strict and ordered, while the more democratic Auobots have trouble making decisions due to disagreement.

Optimus Prime is more of a diplomat by personality and often must overcome disagreements among the Autobots, as well as try to ally himself with the humans.

The exact motives of the cybertronians being on earth is a mystery. Cons claim they're hunting Autobot war criminals. Autobots claim the cons are expanding their empire.

Megatron is strong, leads from the front, and is clearly visible from the getgo. He has an aura of being an inspirational leader, and though more strict than Optimus it's clear his men either respect or fear him.

Being military the cons are tough. It takes several Autobots to take down one con, forcing them to use ambush tactics and take cons one by one.

Small cast of better developed cons. Likely at most 5 cons. Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, some type of heavy, and some type of scientist (new characters maybe).

Don't be too ready to kill characters. Autobots will score victories by preventing cons from completing their mission.

Better cinamatography. Keep the camera steady, minimize jump cuts, and depict the action in such a way that it's never disorienting.

TFs all have at least some bright colors making them easy to identify. Simpler more robotic designs. Possibly TF Prime style, with just enough detail to look good on the big screen, without looking like a wad of tin foil.

Human military can take on transformers, but it takes a ridiculous amount of firepower to do it.

Transformers are more robotic, meaning they can be fixed, and reproduce by building rather than hatching.

Autobots combined with earth military can repel a small group of Decepticons, but it's left up to question if they could really handle an all out invasion.

Autobo group is also small, and a hodgepodge of various Autobots from different walks of life.

Optimus Prime: the leader and diplomat. An all rounded type, who's also the most experienced member of the rebellion and would be the most experienced in combat. He's more of a quick thinker and tactician though, and uses technique more than power.

Bumblebee: The scout, who will talk, and does well...scouting. He's not much of a warrior and acts as a frontman for the autobots, appears on screen first and is generally a deep cover operative. He wasn't built for battle, but is key in getting the humans on the side of the Autobots, especially by gathering information about human culture. When he encounters Decepticons he's generally forced to be evasive. He's rather more like Spiderman.

Ratchet: The team's medic and science officer. He'd be the second Autobot to appear when Bumblebee goes to him for repairs after his first encounter with a Decepticon. He provides both repair assistance, and moral support, but also proves a foil to Bumblebee as he doesn't favor getting involved with humans.

Prowl: The follower and field commander. A very by the book type. He's a hardass with a heart of gold. He's somewhat envious of the more structured Decepticons, but ultimately believes in the Autobot cause.

Bulkhead: The heavy of the group. A former construction worker from Cybertron who joined the rebellion. He's physically strong enough to go hand to hand with a Decepticon but lacks the battle experience the cons have. He pulls double duty as the team's civil engineer and would rather be building things than breaking them.

Arcee: Bulkhead's partner providing a foil for him in conversation. Similar to TFP Arcee. She has a reputation for losing partners, and specifically chose to be paired with someone big and hard to kill like Bulkhead. Truth be told it's not that she can't keep a partner, but rather that she's incredibly good at surviving situations that lesser Autobots can't.

Basically I'd like the cons to be a bigger threat. They're warriors, while the Autobots are civilians. Optimus doesn't need to be overpowered, and in fact needs other Autobots to fight effectively. It's his leadership skills that make him stand out. Casting the Autobots as underdogs, makes it more impressive when they do win.

I would kind of start in on Cybertron, Optimus throws the Allspark into space while bumblebee gets his throat ripped out, and Megatron flies after it, fast forward a lo g time to 2013 or 2014 that's really all i can think of for the first one, an Autobot introduction, scenes on the nemesis, less human actors, Ernie Hudson :D , and the hunt for the Allspark, plus no sexual stuff or animal like Decpticons

    Autobots:

Optimus Prime: Looks like his TF: Prime self but with some Prime symbols and a little more blue

    Jazz: Like G1

Ironhide: Like G1, Southern Accent, and the Cannons

Ratchet: Like Prime, Voiced by Jeffery Combs, actually is a good medic

Prowl: Like his IDW self (but less of a douche)

Wheeljack: a combination of IDW and TF: Prime

Hound: G1-ish but is more of a kinder Autobot who loves Earth

Bumblebee: More G1 plus some TF: Prime (i saw a drawing that would look kickass) more if a background character but not by much

    Decepticons

    Megatron: Like Movie and IDW

Starscream: His true personality (true ruler, blah, blah lol)

Thundercracker: Starscreams brother but with a huge scar across his eye

Skywarp: Cocky and can open Space Bridges at will

Soundwave: Like his movie and G1 self

Rumble: like the Prime toy, seperate from Soundwave

    Swindle: Animated and FOC style

    Demolisher: Armada/RID

Barricade: Like his WFC self more intelligent and tactical

Lazerbeak and Ravage: aren't shown to much, lazerbeak is more of his G1 self while Ravage is movie movie

Knockout: Prime design but not his personality

    Vehicons: Car and Jets

    Shockwave: appears after the credits

My idea takes place on Earth directly after a war that occurs there told in flashbacks sort of Incredible Hulk style (doesn't focus on the origin). What follows are decisions on either side that focus on character development for the robots mainly. Some changes that will be in this story are: female transformers being a regular facet of transformers society, holographic avatars and war continuing on a dead Cybertron even with the Autobots and Decepticons stranded on Earth (forces of Ultra Magnus vs Shockwave) reminiscent of Elita-1 and her gang facing off against Shockwave in the G1 Cartoon on dead Cybertron.

Plot: War has ravaged Cybertron and made it uninhabitable. The Decepticons are on a mission to restore it to its former glory even if it means the destruction of a whole world. The Autobots, who are against the Decepticons, have accepted the loss of Cybertron but will not accept the loss of any other world so long as there are Decepticons to take them. They accidentally crash land on Earth where both factions discover that it is rich in resources that can be converted easily into energon. The Autobots and Decepticons engage in an all scale war leveling many of Earth’s key nations up until humanity created weapons that could contain them (thanks to Starscream betraying the Decepticons internally). After leaving Megatron for dead, Optimus Prime turns himself in peacefully to be tried for crimes committed towards humans. Without Prime, Prowl assumes leadership duties commanding the Autobots in a secret war against Starscream’s ‘New’ Deceptions. However a new plot to rape Earth of its resources has come to the attention of the Autobots who can no longer continue hiding in plain sight fighting a secret war against the Decepticons. They must break out Optimus Prime and stop a returning Megatron from wreaking pure destruction.

    Autobots

Optimus Prime – Modified Peterbilt 386 – The wise, heroic and charismatic leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime has taken a long time to learn the role of leader and it has cost him dearly over the centuries. After witnessing several casualties during the war Optimus Prime has peacefully offered himself to the humans as penance for past mistakes. The years have made him a wiser leader rejecting his original acceptance of necessary loss during war. (Peter Cullen)

Prowl – Dodge Charger Pursuit – With Optimus in custody, Prowl is the next logical leader of the Autobots. He proves himself to be an effective strategist and leader however his calculating nature and lack of wisdom causes rifts within the Autobot ranks. (Idris Elba)

Bumblebee – Modified Suzuki SX4 Hatchback – As the team’s stealthy scout, Bumblebee tends to find himself in situations much larger than himself. Recently he has been disobeying Prowl’s orders to not discover the location of Optimus Prime. He is young, energetic and highly charismatic going out of his way to prove himself. (Johnny Yong Bosch)

Wheeljack – Lamborghini Gallardo – He is the eccentric scientist in the Autobot crew. He was previously their star engineer and part-time medic during the war and has continued to perform his services with the Autobots on Earth. He has always been against the war which is why he tries to use his know how to end it peacefully. (Steve Buscemi)

Flareup – Modified Agusta A119 Koala – Originally a member of Elita-One’s Autobot Minutebot Strike Coalition, Flareup was personally asked to lend her abilities to the Autobots on route to stop the Decepticons. She loves her job, and does it with a cheerfulness and zeal matched by few of her Autobot comrades. Like them, however, she too wants an end to the war and will do what she can to end it. (Jewel Staite)

Brawn - Armet Gurkha F5 – He pits himself against all physical charges that would otherwise harm his friends. Brawn is grumpy and quick to anger and knows it. He makes constant attempts to compose himself whenever there is an opportunity to ‘let loose’. Aside from this he has a heart of gold. (Kevin Michael Richardson)

    Decepticons

Megatron – Cybertronian Tank and Cybertronian Stealth Bomber – Very few Cybertronians are born triple changers which made Megatron instantly destined for greatness. Born and bred in the mines and underground fighting circuit of Tarn, Megatron sought to overthrow the corrupt senate with help from Orion Pax, Prowl, Soundwave and Esmeral. His campaign to save Cybertron would have been in good hands were it not for the sacrificed death of his love, Esmeral, (which he blames Orion Pax for) and the loss of Cybertron entirely due to events in the war. With nothing else to live for but Cybertron, he will do anything to revive Cybertron even if it means the destruction of an entire world. (Frank Welker)

Soundwave – Modified SmarTruck II Communications Vehicle – The Decepticon member who spearheaded the idea behind the Decepticons. He is Megatron’s most loyal servant as well as his communications and surveillance or rather: the eyes and ears of Megatron. He is mute due to an injury he sustained prior to the war of Cybertron but this and many other shortcomings has not stopped him from pushing forward the Decepticon agenda even when others’ resolve has wavered. He commands his minions Laserbeak, Ravage and Rumble who are components of his Vehicle mode interior and disguised portions of his robot kibble. He was also secretly involved in Esmeral’s death as a means to maintain Decepticon motivation and goals. (Same voice actor as Snake Eyes (G.I.Joe) and Soundwave (Transformers Prime))

Starscream – Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning – The Decepticon who double crossed Megatron during the war allowing Optimus Prime the upper hand all to become the current leader of the Decepticons. He is self obsessed, hungry for power, overly proud possessing a limitless ambition. Even with all these traits, Starscream is a bitter coward whenever he does not have the upper hand. He commands his ‘New Decepticons’ to find ways to leave Earth, rather than remain to fulfill the Decepticon agenda. (Charlie Adler)

Thundercracker – Northrop B-2 Grumman Spirit – Thundercracker is the embodiment of sky superiority. As such he often looks down on those who are relegated to traveling the ground. This has given him an air of pride as a true warrior. He is not entirely committed to the Decepticon cause, but fear of angering Megatron or Starscream is enough to keep his loyalty in check. (Steve Blum)

Skywarp – Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk – Skywarp is ready for a good fight. If he’s not shooting and busting up Autobots he’s practicing his teleport skill which gets him from point A to point B in no time. He is loyal to the Decepticon cause only because it lets him kill things. (Stephen Dorph)

Fracture – Dodge Viper SRT – Fracture takes pride in three things: her brilliant paint job, vehicle mode and her steady hands. These hands serve two purposes in the Decepticon ranks: the first as their sadistic science medical officer, the second as their deadly field sniper. Fracture is quite OCD about her looks and definitely flips out if her paint job is ever ruined. Like Starscream however, she hopes for the day she will usurp her new leader. (Sienna Miller)

Deadlock – Nissan Silvia S16 – Deadlock spent much of his time watching the gladiatorial battles Megatron participated in and idolized him. He adopted his own samurai styled code of warrior honor fighting honorably for the Decepticon cause. However, after the war on Earth, Deadlock his honor code broken, became disillusioned about the Decepticon agenda of restoring Cybertron. Deadlock realizes he has a decision to make and with Megatron out of the way he knows when he will make his decisive move… (Byung Hun Lee)

Bombshock – M1A2 Abrams Tank – Bombshock prefers to stay quiet and let the guns do the talking. The largest of the decepticons, Bombshock knows he is a soldier and nothing else. He suffers from a state of “Megatronus Apotheosis” where he places dual fusion cannons on each of his arms in tribute of Megatron and even goes so far as assuming a vehicle mode which is closest to his master’s. All he cares about is the order. (Hugo Weaving)

Just wanted to edit mine a little bit, the third film specifically. I wanted to change the subtitle of the film, and change the plot around the bit, as well as some characters. I replaced Tap Out with Brawn for the second and third films. Also, an idea for a fourth film. Yay!

Cybertronian's have allied with humans to help further progress technological advancements. However, Cybertronian-grade weaponry is falling into human hands, resulting in world political conflicts and minor battles across the globe. The Autobots investigate, and discover it to be the work of Shockwave and Swindle, along with a large group of Decepticons. A majority of the Autobots are assassinated, including Optimus Prime, but not before they manage to send out a distress signal. The Wreckers arrive on Earth five years later, determined to free humanity and destroy the remains of Megatron's former Decepticon empire.

The budget for the fourth film is going on the basis that the previous three films are incredibly successful. :lol

Although, pretty much all of the returning Autobots, save for Rodimus, would be dead within the first hour of the film, and then all the Wreckers save for Springer, Whirl and Roadbuster will also die. Trailbreaker will die, but Magnus and Bee will survive, and meet up with the Wreckers towards the end of the film to defeat Shockwave. However, Magnus will be horribly injured in the process. And in terms of setting, think of Earth in the new Star Trek film, and that's basically what it looks like in most major cities.

I like the plot twist. I thought Mirage would have been the traitor but it was nice how you set that up given Mirage's shady reputation as a 'Decepticon sympathizer'. The young romance thing bugged me but I understand the need to write this into a story like this. We still need women watching this thing. Poor Thundercracker. I didn't care too much for the beginning as it's pretty much how most movies like this start out with mystery caves or houses or whatnot. I suppose seeing it would give me a different feeling than reading it if you know what I mean. I liked how you ended it with the Autobots winning the battle but the Decepticons winning this leg of the war. It's a twist in that we WANT to see the sequel and see the Autobots pwn the Decepticons. Usually it goes the other way around with the Autobots winning then the Decepticons then the final end of times battle forming a trilogy. It's good that you calculated budget concerns as well seeing as there would be a need for more human focus but come the scenario is that you are guaranteed this one film. Go crazy :D

I wish you were a producer or screenplay writer for the actual films :(
What I liked is how you pointed out that the Decepticons are military and the Autobots are basically civilians who turn rebel. There is alot of story that could be shelled out, dis-organisation among the Autobots but who show great courage. Whilst the Decepticons are powerful but lack teamwork. I thought the Autobots were way OP, Bumblebee works better as a scout more than an action ninja who takes on the likes of Soundwave no problem.

Also liked how Prime is a diplomat, juggling human and Autobots.
    So much story........

Wow there're some great predictions here. Here's mine:
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye
    Autobots:
Optimus Prime: Leader of the Autobots. He's determined to protect his men and humanity. Despite his bravery and heroism, he acts like 'one of the guys' and even casually banters with them. Voiced by Peter Cullen and changes into a Peterbilt 379. Wepons are an axe and his hands switch to guns.
Bumblebee: The smallest member of the crew. He's brave, curious, chatty and loves to drive. Voiced by Nolan North and changes into a Volkswagen Beetle GSR. Two turrets are concealed in his forearms.
Ironhide: Optimus' oldest friend. Tough as they come, battle-hardened war hero who will fight to his last to preserve justice. Voiced by Michael Ironside and changes into a red GMC Topkick pickup truck. Hands change to guns.
Warpath: An emotionally conflicted Autobot who loves to fight Decpeticons. He's doubting if he deserves to be called an Autobot. Voiced by Jamieson Price and changes into a red heavily armored tank. Cannon in his chest and turrets are concealed in his forearms.
Ratchet: An old, grumpy Autobot who serves as the crew's medic. He's reluctant to mix with humans. Voiced by Jeffrey Combs and changes into a luminous green and red ambulance. Hands switch into blades.
Wheeljack: An engineer who was a member of the Wreckers, an Autobot special forces group. He's still brash and eager to fight. Voiced by James Horan and changes into a red, white, and green Ferrari Testarossa and Ford GT90 mixture. Carries two katanas.
    Decepticons:
Megatron: A powerful warrior who founded and leads the Decepticons. He searches for the Matrix to gain ultimate power. Voiced by Frank Welker and changes into a Cybertronian tank. A fusion cannon is imbedded in his arm and he also has a mace.
Starscream: Shares the role of 2nd-in-command of the Nemesis crew. Cares only for himself and constantly tries to undermine Megatron's authority. Voiced by Steve Blum and changes into a customize Red Arrow-like red and white jet. Guns imbedded in his arms and has a sword.
Soundwave: Shares the role of second-in-command of the Nemesis crew. Has an undying loyalty towards Megatron. Voiced by Frank Welker and changes into a navy Balkan Mark 6. Cannon in his shoulder and left hand switches into a gun. He has three Cassettes who stay in his chest when not in use (all voiced by Frank Welker):
    Laserbeak: A bird.
    Frenzy: A light blue drone.
Rumble: A black and red drone.
Barricade: A Decepticon infamous for smashing past Autobot barricades during the war. He's fast-moving and violent. Voiced by Tom Hardy and changes into an Audi R8. Hands switch to saws.
Breakdown: The Nemesis' crew's heavy-hitter. A big, brute who prefers to fight than think. Voiced by Adam Baldwin and changes into an armored truck. Cannon in his shoulder.
Blackout: A huge Decepticon who is fiercely loyal to and admires Megatron. He is considering one of the Decpeticons strongest assets and has a rivalry with Starscream. Voiced by Bumper Robinson and transforms into a helicopter. Gun in his chest.
    Humans
Jack Witwicky (???): A 15 year old boy living with his aunt and uncle. He reunites with his dad during the conflict for the Matrix. Happily dating Nami.
Nami O'Neil (???): Jack's girlfriend, a beautiful young girl of Japanese descent.
Mike Witwicky (Christian Bale): A very respected army officer and Jack’s father. Awakens the Autobots on the Ark.
Steve Marko (Terence Howard): Mike’s right-hand man.
Danny Burke (Robert Downey Jr.): A reasonable and comedic government official sent to negotiate with the Autobots.
    Tommy Witwicky (???): Jack’s uncle.
    Rachael Witwicky (???): Jack’s aunt.

    Plot:
On the distant planet of Cybertron, a civil war is taken place between the heroic Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, and the villainous Decepticons, led by Megatron. Megatron and the Decepticons seek the Creation Matrix, a mystical and powerful relic which created the Transformers/Cybertronians. The Autobots have managed to keep it out of his possession. But, such a long period of warfare has ravaged Cybertron and its natural resources. Optimus takes the Matrix to the planet’s core, in the hopes of rebooting it. But, Megatron attacks, trying to finally claim the Matrix. In the ensuing battle, the Matrix is lost in the void of space. Optimus assembles a crew to accompany him on the Ark and find the Matrix. But, Megatron does likewise on his warship the Nemesis. Eventually, the two crews clash, which leads to them crashing and being forced into stasis in a far away solar system. 100 years pass....

A shower of comets barrage Mars, reactivating the Decepticons onboard the Nemesis. Soundwave is able to locate the planet the Matrix is on. Starscream sneers at his inability to get the Nemesis airborne. Megatron deems that unimportant as they’re close enough to reach the planet in the Nemesis’ pods. The planet is Earth.

Jack is on a date with his girlfriend, Nami. The two are having a fun evening. They briefly talk about Jack’s dad, who Nami is one of the few people to know how distant they are. They’re walking through the park later when they hear a noise. They investigate but find nothing. Its revealed that it was Soundwave, scanning his new vehicle form.

Mike, Jack’s dad, is with his right-hand man, Steve, at an Arctic research facility the two were sent to, so as to deliver valuable equipment. Steve quizzes Mike about Jack, causing Mike to storm off. He falls into an ice cavern. Steve follows him and they discover the Ark, and re-activate the Autobots inside.

Soundwave, having met up with Blackout, contacts Megatron and relays information. He admits that a couple heard him and, while he doubts they saw him, has send Rumble to take care of them, just in case.

Jack is at home with his aunt, Rachael, and uncle, Tommy. The family are relaxing when they hear a strange noise. Tommy tells Jack and Rachael to stay inside as he goes out to investigate. He meets his neighbours, who were also alarmed, and the three are about to head back inside their homes when Rumble appears behind them. He pummels the ground knocking them over and injuring them. He attacks them again, killing the neighbours, and heads inside Jack’s house. He promises to kill Jack for what he saw, but Rachael gives Jack enough of a distraction to run. Worrying for Nami’s safety, upon correctly guessing this was linked to what they saw in the park, he heads to her house. He sees she’s alright, home alone as her parents are gone away, but Rumble has caught up to them. Due to ingenuity and quick thinking they’re able to survive for a while but Rumble corners them and is about to kill them. Then, a Volkswagen Beetle GSR shows up and transforms into Bumblebee, forcing Rumble to leave. Bumblebee introduces himself to the startled couple. He takes them to the military carrier he got here in.

Jack, Nami, and Bumblebee arrive back at the Arctic research facility. They meet the other Autobots and Danny, a government sent negotiator who deems the Autobots as trustworthy. Optimus explains about the war and how he sent Bumblebee to collect them, fearing that they’d be targeted by the Decepticons due to being related to Mike. We see each of the Autobots’ basic personalities. Danny assures Jack that his aunt and uncle are safe and being treated. Jack and Mike briefly talk.

Warpath and Ratchet go to Dallas, hoping to find a lead on the Matrix’s whereabouts. However, Blackout is already there, having the same intentions, leading to a fight. Blackout proves to be a dangerous foe, pushing the Autobot duo to their limits. But, upon take a big risk, Warpath kills Blackout. Ratchet sets about repairing him, calling him out on his reckless attitude. He notes that he already has a damaged voicebox (explaining his verbal tic) and that he doesn’t want to see him damaged further. Warpath proceeds to explain to Ratchet how fighting and smashing Decepticons is the only thing he knows now, and worries that he doesn’t deserve to be an Autobot. Ratchet comforts him.

Back at the Arctic base, Jack and Mike continue to bond, as we see more of the other Autobots’ personalities (e.g. Wheeljack’s inventing). Ironhide and Steve form a friendship, where the latter confesses to Ironhide how the death of Mike’s wife due to cancer caused him to throw himself into work and ignore his son.

Starscream is with Breakdown, and shows nothing but contempt for Blackout and no sadness regarding his death. They’re contacted by Barricade, who’s with Megatron. They attack a nearby military base and slaughter the soldiers there. The two set up base there. By the time reinforcements arrive, the other Decepticons have showed up and destroy them.

Optimus, Wheeljack, and Ironhide are helping to evacuate the nearest town to the captured base. Starscream tries to attack a distracted Optimus but Ironhide stops him. Wheejack confronts Breakdown and Soundwave while Megatron arrives and challenges Optimus. Realising he can’t beat Ironhide in a straight up fight and hoping that Megatron will be killed here, Starscream flees. Ironhide takes on Soundwave for Wheeljack, allowing him to focus on Breakdown, his old archenemy. Ironhide is unable to stop Soundwave from ejecting Laserbeak, who attacks Optimus. This allows Megatron to wound his old foe. Things are looking bleak for the Autobots when the other Ark crew members arrive along with air support. Megatron decides that locating the Matrix is more important than getting involved in a huge battle, so the Decepticons retreat.

Wheeljack explains what Wreckers are to the humans, and how he was in charge of engineering. Ratchet has him sit down as he finishes repairing him. Nami and Jack stay to talk with him, to his initial disgruntlement, but he bonds with them, especially Nami when she mentions how her grandpa is always grumpy too due to the stress of being a medic. Optimus, Danny, and Bumblebee are conversing, as Warpath, Steve, and Ironhide swap war stories.

Megatron is beating Starscream for abandoning them, but he gets off the hook when he states that he knew they had things under control, and only left so Barricade wouldn’t be alone if the base was attacked. Soundwave dispatches Frenzy to fix some circuitry he can’t reach, which allows Soundwave to....

Discovers the location of the Matrix, at the same time as Optimus. It’s deep on the sea floor in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of America. Jack and Nami want to go, but Mike forbids them saying ‘I’ve already lost one person precious to me, I don’t want to lose another’ fixing him and Jack’s relationship. A webcam is set up at the facility so the humans can watch the action there.

The big, final battle begins. Soundwave sends out his Cassettes to go retrieve the Matrix, but Ratchet follows them. It’s Optimus vs. Megatron, Wheeljack vs. Breakdown, Ironhide vs. Soundwave, Bumblebee vs. Barricade, and Warpath vs. Starscream. After a tough battle, Wheeljack manages to kill his old enemy. Warpath is about to finish off Starscream, when he sees Bumblebee in danger against Barricade. He decides to leave Starscream, and battles Barricade to save Bumblebee. He heavily injures Barricade and tosses him into the water. He then takes Bumblebee to a safe place and vows to stay with him and protect him until Ratchet’s ready to fix him up. Bumblebee muses that he thought Warpath would prefer to be smashing Decepticons, but Warpath states that ‘I’ve ‘KABLOAMO’ got more important ‘KABOW’ things to do.’ The Matrix rises to the surface. The Cassettes try to grab it but Ratchet promises ‘I won’t let you harm humanity’ and beats them into submission, forcing Soundwave to recall them. Ironhide then delivers a mighty punch to Soudwave, knocking him out. But, Megatron get’s the Matrix!

Optimus orders the others to fall back and attempts to confront Megatron, but the Matrix makes him too strong. Ironhide rushes in, saving Optimus. But, he is soon killed by Megatron. Optimus is enraged, remembering all the good times he had with Ironhide. The Matrix starts to cancel its power boost to Megatron. All the humans at the facility proceed to shout encouragement at Optimus over a com-link. Optimus and Megatron continue to fight, with Optimus eventually grabbing the Matrix, and starting to struggle with Megatron over it. The matrix starts to glow, and fries Megatron’s circuitry. As he struggles to survive, Megatron is stabbed by Starscream, ending his life. Starscream flies off as Soundwave awakens and sees his master’s dead body. He too retreats. Optimus and the others crowd around Ironhide’s body.

The Autobots buried Ironhide, and are forming an alliance with the UN military. Megatron’s body was hiding at the facility. Mike moved back home to help Tommy and Rachael while they recover, and spend time with his son and get to know Nami. Alien theories become rampant. Wheeljack and army engineers try to get the Ark up and running. The movie ends at a hill, as the Autobots and their human friends enjoy themselves. Optimus delivers this speech:
    ‘They say war is Hell.
    They have a point.
But, like all darkness there’s a ray of light.
Even when our backs are against the wall, when all seems lost, and our allies start to die,
    We won’t surrender.
    For we have hope.
I am Optimus Prime and I sent this message to all living beings across the universe,
We have the Matrix. We have survival. We have hope.’

During the credits, we cut to Starscream arriving back on the Nemesis on Mars, and contacting someone on Cybertron, relaying the news of Megatron’s death and the Autobots’ retrieval of the Matrix. This someone is.....Shockwave.

    I’ll do the sequels later
