The 2012 Hollywood Christmas Parade just aired on the Hallmark Channel. We had 28 star cars in the lineup, including yours truly in my Bumblebee riding next to the screen-used No. 1 Bee as featured in the Hollywood Treasures episode.

Look closely, you'll see he's driverless.

Cool. They had Austin Powers' car and the two batmobiles.

Actually they do have drivers - otherwise they would not have allowed them to be included as they would be a risk to people's safety. Also, i'm about 99% sure their were people driving the cars in the front.

Yes, I know there was a driver. They used the "driverless" seat for parade so it looked like Bumblebee was driving itself. Yes, all the cars had drivers.

This is the driverless driver seat that bolts in after the stock seat is removed.

Great old Hollywood trick- instead of sitting in the seat, the driver wears it like a suit. Freeze-frame some Knight Rider eps, you'll make out the fake seat.

Great vid clip, but short, I'll have to find the full covereage. 60s Batmobile > 89 > all others

If you go to YouTube and search 2012 Hollywood Christmas Parade, you'll find all kinds of different angles. Yeah, they really edited it down. There were 28 of us there.

Here's a bird's eye view. We come in at about 29:45

Love parades like this. Makes me wish Paramount would use the cars more often, rather than let them sit.
