    It's nice that you all have your own opinions, but fact remains that everytime someone mentions Bay or one of his movies, a lot of hate is immediately spread around, even for a movie that hasn't come out yet. To a lot of people, the Transformers movies were GOOD. They weren't perfect, ofcourse, but they were good. We just leave it at that and be glad that it wasn't worse.

    I like the Rook, Bad Boyz 1 and 2, but his TF movies sucked. He would have be perfect for directing an G.I. Joe movie.

    Exactly, Bay gave the franchise some pop culture cred that allowed others to improve the brand with new shows, etc. He did not innovate anything himself.

    pretty much ANY director that was given the job and $200 mil for effects would have given the franchise some pop culture cred
