Is anybody else, really hoping that despite all horribleness of it all...



They are going to title the movie Trans4mers?

Like, don't get me wrong. It's an awful awful pun. But... Oh my god, I think i'd lose myself laughing at how horrible that is, and want to see it more, just due to the sheer mediocrity.

Y'know, how some movies just look really dumb... but you still partake in seeing it... just... cause? Then to top it off it has a really dumb title like... "8teen"? I dunno something about dumb titles really does get me going, in that weird, "God thats really dumb... but some how... cute..." kinda way...

The movieverse may do some stupid things, but I honestly don't think they'll change up their MO on titling now. TF4 will more than likely have a "[verb] of the [noun]" subtitle like RotF and DotM. Or any subtitle at a minimum (like Retaliation, The Phantom Menace, Returns, The Two Towers, etc.). Trans4mers or Transformers 4 just doesn't look right for a super official title when compared to the previous entries, in my opinion.

Though the jerk in me wants that to be the title - even if were only the WIP pre-production title before the official subtitle shows up - if only to see the rage and tears that would flow because of it.

It needs a subtitle ,Im pretty sure it will be given a full title all though the first movie was just title transformers so dont get your hopes up. Transformers 4 isnt a bad title just isnt that creative.

A) Trans4mers is about the single stupidest title suggestion that people keep spewing out on this forum over & over again, and easily one of the lamest attempts at being "clever" that we've seen. How more than 2 people could ever possibly get behind that nonsensical wordplay is beyond me.

B) Thousand bucks says the subtitle will follow the predictably easy template of being "Rise/Return of the *something*" just like the previous sequels. Either that or they'll switch gears into quasi reboot mode and start doing one word subtitles ala Evolution, Redemption, etc.

Transformers: Pun of the Four.

Hopefully it will have a subtitle. Truth of the matter is a part of me will die inside if the title actually is Trans4mers, the trend of butchering words for the sake of "cool" titling irks me.

That being said, it is widespread enough that it's going to be what all the entertainment rags call it even when the actual title is known. Love or hate it, Trans4mers as a name is probably here to stay.

They're better than Trans4mers. They're better than that. Also, I hope the title won't have any words starting with "r" and include "of the." Most uncreative sequel titles ever.

Im hoping for: Transformers : Big fuckin' robots fightin' other big fuckin' robots.
