Jetfire's, for being so full of personality.

Devastator's, for being epic and brutal.

Wheelie's, for some reason I can't describe. It's quick and scrappy, like a scout should be.

Sideswipe, i like the way he transforms with the wheels spinning on the ground in a split second.

Wow, three pages of pretty much ubiquitous positivity. I love it.

I just like the transformations overall. If I may quote myself:

Plus, I also like how their transformations are catered to their particular environment at the time and even their mood. Optimus' transformation in the alleyway is different than his transformation on the highway which is different than his transformation in front of Mearing. Then of course you have characters like Jazz and Soundwave that have a certain capoera/break-dancing motif. Jetfire is slow and broken down, so he has parts falling off and glitching and getting stuck and he has to bang them into place. The Decepticons have a very "sharp" and "heavy" transformations. There's dozens of poignant sounds when they transform, things like gears moving, locking into place, steam hissing, etc., and when we get to see little details that match up with that, it's just fantastic. Always how I pictured advanced, live-action transformations. There's just a lot of uniqueness in the movieverse transformations, which has a lot to do with the medium.
If I had to try and narrow it down to one or two really poignant moments/events, it would be spinning tires (like Bumblebee or Optimus just prior to speaking with Galloway in RotF) or little "puffs" of smoke/dust/steam that spirt out of various mechanical places on their armor.

There are times when the more static transformations work though: that shot of Optimus Prime's first transformation from truck to robot was beyond awesome effects, it was art.

Though I agree, the moving transformations are very cool.

Oh yeah, yeah, don't get me wrong. There's always times when a more static transformation would work. A more "kinetic" transformation of Optimus in the alleyway would've worked against the scene, in my opinion. What I'm saying is that the transformations are catered to their environment, which I like. There are situations where it works better for them to be "static" and there are situations where it works better for them to be on the move. Optimus introducing himself in the alleyway? Static, definitely. Bumblebee racing to catch Sam and Lennox in DotM? On-the-move.

Oh man, Optimus' first transformation. The truck that we all know and love rolls up to the anticipating humans, stops before them with the Autobot insignia on the grill, and then transforms. Seeing Optimus Prime rise up and take shape, while the other Autobots gathered around him, the humans looking up and up in awe, is one of the most beautiful Transformers scenes I have ever seen.

It helps that as he finishes, the others transform as well, Ratchet rotating his torso around as he flips up, Jazz spinning around as his doors fold back, Ironhide and Bumblebee unfolding and standing up. It's breathtaking

For the fun factor it's kind of hard to beat Paratrooper Prime in China. A fun concept that was shot so well on all the levels that a scene can be made.

+1 to Blackout's first scene. His glory aside, the abrupt way his rotors just 'clunked' to a halt at the beginning of his transformation that done it for me. Barricade's first car to robot transform. Oh, and in TF1 where BB's rear wheels are smoking up during transformation for the S7 escape was a good touch.
