Fighter and Warrior class are the same thing to me. I would've preffered mad scientist with a daredevil streak.

Because, they aren't super heroes or actors with stage names. They aren't characters who got upgraded and changed their names like some characters in Transformers. They're using multiple different names all at the same time.

It's like if you met someone for the first time and went "Hello my name's James" and then he went "My name is Micheal, David, Nathan, Donald, Harry, and Arnold, nice to meet you." Unless you just introduced yourself to 6 different people that's confusing.

Demolishor is Wheelbot the one in the beginning, Scavenger is seperate from Demolishor/Wheelbot, he's the one who formed devastator in the films final battle plus they have different color scheme Demolishor/Wheelbot is white in the film (but he's red in tie in media) whiel Scavenger is red
Nope, same color scheme.

Here's Legends Class Scavenger.

And Deluxe Class Demolishor.

They're both red AND white. Demolishor was given some variants that were all white but he does have this one toy that is the exact same color scheme as Scavenger so they're the same character.

Plus the vehicle at the end of the movie is not even a character. Devastator appears to be just made up of identical vehicles to that of the other Constructicons except that they don't actually have robot modes and only serve as multiple alt modes for Devastator. Basically exactly like the 100 toy, no individual robot modes. That toy also has the same color scheme as the two posted above.

thats because in early artworks demolishor/wheelbot was red, but during post-production bay changed his color to white which was a very late change as the toys, games and the rest of rotf tie in media had him red, but Scavanger remained red when he appeared.

Hasbro later decided to make a figure to represent how Demolishor appeared in the final film, but as i said Scavenger and Demolishor are seperate, the original demolishor was red cause bay did a last minute change to the character colors, it was just a last minute change that bay did.

Scavenger and Demolishor are seperate characters and not the same guy

The Comic Books and Hasbro Website said that the Constructicons ARE ALL drone, thus there are multiple copies of each constructicon (which again explains the demolishor/Wheelbot and Scavenger thing. plus also explains why there are multiple construticons).

they are robots, not vehicles. Hasbro site said that more than one Devastator (or that devastator can be bigger) if more constructicons merge, thus the vehciles we saw are actual Sentient Decepticons
Check the Transformers/Marvel Universe

It would have been neat if as a last ditch effort we saw Q, uh Wheeljack yank an arm or leg off of himself and create a gun out of a limb to shoot at Soundwave. That would have been cool.

Um, no. That would just be weird and silly. Not to mention that it'd ruin the emotion of the scene.

The poll on this thread just needs to be closed, it's so inane...

Wheeljack's fear (and he IS Wheeljack, as the credits and Hasbro state) is one of those DOTM things that split fans, like Optimus Prime's lack of mercy and Megatron in ruins. On the one hand, it makes sense for a civilian like Wheeljack to be frightened at the prospect of getting killed, that sort of thing is enough to make anyone a near-wreck.

On the other hand, Wheeljack in DOTM was relegated to a mere civilian who was shot down in a flash, who built weapons but ironically didn't have the courage to use the ones he had, who got about five major scenes and who didn't even have a distinct alternate mode (I see about 5 Mercedes E550s everyday).

My problem is not his fear, but his being deliberately depicted as a wuss. Wheeljack, one of the Autobot warriors who designs weapons (as based on his G1 version, to answer TylerMirage), is not a wuss, could not be a wuss as his comic history portrayed, nor deserves to be one.

My question was mostly rhetorical. Merely pointing out that "generally speaking", as you put it, constitutes only a small portion of the character's varied history.
