It also had the menacing "Decepticons" theme, why they dropped that in later movies I'll never know. |

DotM is decent, but it's lacking in a lot of ways too. Plus, I hate how they abandoned the staccato Latin chanting theme for the Decepticons after the first 20 minutes of RotF. That theme was unique and awesome. Why would you get rid of it? Side Note: If you haven't heard the expanded score for the first movie, do it now. "Are You Ladiesman 217" is another song which makes it for me. Plus, two things I'm not happy with on DotM is that pretty much every track (at least of the initial release; haven't listened much to the expanded score yet) use the same underlying rhythm as that track "Battle." It's cool for a movie like Signs, where the entire movie hinges on it, but in an action movie like Transformers, it comes off as lazy composing. Another quaff I have is how shamelessly Jablonsky ripped off "Mind Heist" by Zack Hemsey in "It's Our Fight."  Quote:
