Sam's change of character from ROTF to DOTM

For the scene specifically in DOTM, it was the added line about his car. It changed the way Sam came across - from being upset that he couldn't spend as much time with a friend to being upset that he was left with a POS car instead of his badass Camaro.

The rest was pretty rambling....glad it made sense.

Sam was just a whiny little bitch in DOTM. In my opinion he was a better character in TF1.

Yes, that definitely comes off as @$$-ish. That right there betrays some of his inner most feelings. He obviously loves 'Bee as a friend, but you can sort of see that Sam feels as if 'Bee owes him or something. I'd be like me and said friend; if I got angry with him that he couldn't come pick me up from my house to hang out and I had to bike in the rain in order to get to his house. It's not his (Bumblebee's) fault, it's me (Sam) being a douche.

Oh, and don't worry. even when rambling, you still manage to make a buttload of sense and your points are always clear.

If ROTF had been more coherent I don't think this thread would have existed. His character arc was supposed to be him accepting the Autobots back into his life when they did in fact need him. This would explain why he missed them in DOTM.
