This is an interesting idea but to answer the question

GALVATRON!

 

I think the ultimate twist would be that Earth is Unicron. He wanted to wait until the Autobot/Decepticon war was over before he revealed himself.

 

Lord Straxus, one of the best non-Decepticon villains in Transformers history [if not THE best].

Please let The Great War end on DOTM, let a new villain, and a new war rise for TF4, and for such, let Straxus rule!

 

Galvatron, a mysterious Cybertronian that has the strengh to destroy a Prime, takes control of the Decepticons and leads a group of Decepticons to earth to find and destroy the Matrix of Leadership, which the only thing that stands in the way of his master, Unicron.

 

I really like the idea of Galvatron kicking off the start of a new trilogy that is actually a planned trilogy.

Only a few of my pics are up there.

Out of those on the poll - I'd go with Jihaxus. The Generation 2 TFs reproduce via budding. It would justify the Decepticons having an entire army again (even if it takes time).

My personal pics would be Zarak and Overlord.

Zarak would be interesting given the human involvement with the Decepticons in DOTM.

TF technology is used to create mechs for military use. The main villains are a COBRA-like group of terrorists with TF mechs. A few Decepticons are aligned with the group, providing guidance and technology.

The movie could show how negatively TF involvement has impacted the Earth - leading to new destructive forms of warfare. It could actually take the anti-Autobot sentiment of the world leaders + 50% of the population and build a story around it.

Overlord is a tough Decepticon whose alt modes can provide excellent visuals and action scenes (tank + jet that combine). Furthermore, they could run with the angle of him adopting two Earth kids/early teens - like in Masterforce. It would be the shadowy version of Bumblebee+Prime and Sam. It could create decent drama, making the evil leader more three-dimensional and harder to justify face-ripping.

 

Unicron would be great, if it is a reboot, I would not be surprised if we get the same set of decepticons

 

See, THAT'S why I don't want a reboot: We would just have Megatron, SS and Soundwave again, and I want something NEW on the big-screen.

You guys don't realize the opportunity we have on our hands! The opportunity to have a completely different conflict going on the big-screen, a new villain other than Megatron.

 

That would fall in line with the movies we have so far- they keep trying to find reasons to make Earth related more and more to Cybertronians.

Galvatron: a long lost warlord from Cybertron's past has been broken out from his prison on Praxus by his loyalist forces. The totally obedient Cyclonus and the mysterious Scourge and his army of tracking hounds known as Sweeps. They bring news of Megatron's defeat at Optimus Prime's hands, the death of the Fallen and Sentinel Prime.

Something along those lines would work for me. I wouldn't be adverse to seeing some of the comic only characters like Dreadwing and Jhiaxus though.

 

Well has a gigantic fan of megatron. I would love to see his return, I loved hugo's voice of megatron and his personality did fit megatron perfectly. And I would love to see more move Megs in film 4, has I still would love the epic battle with optimus and Megatron again, that we never got in film 2 and 3, which was a crying shame

 

Have the remaining decepticons on earth (the ones that were spreading the pillars around) capture the dead bodies of The Fallen, Sentinel, Megatron, and Shockwave. Combine them all to create Nemesis Prime.

I'm going ahead with Lord Straxus as well, it would be cool to see a new villain for a change.

 

NEW Villain- Jhiaxus- the only decepticon to ever defy Megatron and fought him for leadership he escaped near defeat after an epic battle but Megatron banned him from cybertron. Shockwave returns to Cybertronian moons to find that Jhiaxus has returned & has created an elite group of decepticon warriors known as combaticons...shockwave challenges Jhiaxus but loses Jhiaxus is leader & spares Shockwave for his knwledge of earth and the destruction of cybertron....the rest of the plot is whatever but Jhiaxus can take the mantle of decepticon leader w/ that backstory or something like it





T5 & T6 can introduce unicron or galvatron maybe

 

Jhiaxus is a meh version of STRAXUS.
