Bumblebee Inferior, Soundwave Superior

the autobots do work well together, they have great agility, they move at pace, we saw plenty of scenes where the autobots worked has a team to defeat the decepticons. And bumblebee is a deadly autobot fighter, soundwave is not of huge size, he is not in the league's of optimus megatron and sentinel, so its very possible to see bumblebee blow soundwave's head off clean. There are your titans of transformers, megatron, optimus prime, sentinel, the fallen, unicron, shockwave, the next line is the likes of bumblebee, soundwave, etc etc. So bumblebee can match and outsmart soundwave in a fight, they are a level below the main fighters like optimus and megatron

Soundwave wasn't very superior when Bumblebee kicked his sorry aft.

I hate how dumb and incapable Soundwave was in the film. What sort of idiot doesn't disarm his prisoners. Even if there was no way of deactivating or removing their internal weapons, he should have just told his troops to blow the arms off the Autobot they're holding. Or to be safer, do it himself while the grunts hold the Bots in place.

Then after he proves himself to be an idiot, he can't even fight. Leaving nothing to like about movie Soundwave except maybe his voice and/or design. Both of which I don't like.

I just got visions of Robocop whilst reading that. That would've been awesome to see. And it's really no more 'violent' than executing Que or ripping Optimus' arm off. But it all falls back to the 'good guys have to win'-schtick.

Oddly enough at some point we changed our dismissive attitude of the Egyptians by saying aliens built all their great monuments. You never hear anyone say aliens built the Colosseum in Rome.
