Shockwave combining humans with transformer technology?

the only problem I see with this idea is how OPTIMUS KILLED EVERY LAST DECEPTICON IN CHICAGO ALMOST SINGLE HANDEDLY!!!!!!

Uh... Starscream, Soundwave, Laserbeak, Barricade and Devcon were not killed by Optimus. Only Shockwave, Megatron, Sentinel and a bunch of drones and protoforms were killed by him.

I suspect that user is being intentionally hyperbolic.

In the Movieverse, Shockwave is more of an assassin/warrior. Optimus claimed he was "tough as they come" in the game but in reality, he really wasn't. Granted, he was just used as a diversion for the main villain. I'll say this again, Shockwave should have been completely left out of DOTM and be used as the main villain for TF4.

I dunno, seemed pretty tough considering he just walked through the Wrecker's gunfire and it took the combined forces of them, the humans and Optimus to bring him down for good.

Shockwave actually is pretty tough in the film, he has one Hell of a rasputinian Death: shot at by the Wreckers for some fifteen minutes, then shot some more by them and the humans, then half of his torso is destroyed, THEN his throat is destroyed, THEN his eye is ripped off. He only dies at the last one of those.

Brawl ain't got shit on Shockwave.

Maybe it was just because Optimus took him out in a matter of seconds that made him seem weak. He was strong against the Wreckers, of course but Sentinel put up then most fight of all the other villains combined.

To be fair, Optimus fought him only after he had faced the Wreckers for some fifteen minutes. It's kind of unfair on him. And as well, Optimus caught him off-guard [he notices Optimus 2 seconds before getting his torso shattered].

As Balder said, Optimus more or less finished off the weakened Decepticon, not really a full-on fight. Though, if you take the comics as canon, then this isn't the first time Optimus owned poor Shockwave.

The DOTM prequel, Rising Storm, featured Shockwave slaughtering the inhabitants of Diego Garcia (hence the new base on the mainland), killing the purple bike and critically wounding Wheeljack and Mirage. Optimus went full rage mode and beat the living f**k out of Shockwave to the point the 'Con needed a full reconstruction to survive.
