DOTM not on cable?

I expected DOTM to be on cable, ya know Starz, HBO, etc by now. Normally it is 8-12 months after a theater release and now on cable we have the Help, Jack and Jill and several others that were released in theaters after DOTM.
It isn't going to be one of those movies like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Indiana Jones 3, etc that NEVER shows up on cable is it? I mean the other two showed up. I just haven't even heard advertising saying it is coming soon.

We also already got Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on cable already. And it was on cable for a while now, plus the movie was released a few weeks after DOTM.

Most of the movies you listed i've seen on TV. I just happened to be on the right channel at the right time.

Well I watched a bit of it a couple of nights ago on showtime, but that was on pay view tv. If you have free tv, well you'll have to wait a while.

I'm sure the cost to acquire the rights to air Smurfs and Jack and Jill is easier and far cheaper than it would be to secure the rights to DOTM. Like someone else said, it's making more money on a pay channel now and when it stops collecting cash on there it'll auction off the rights to the next highest cable bidder.
