If the autobots hadn't faked their deaths, it would have been a lot more than just Chicago that would have been decimated. The whole "Now your leaders will understand" line wasn't well phrased, but the one thing it certainly wasn't intended to mean was "screw you guys, we will save the city only when you appreciate us"

I voted for Capt. America, but I think Optimus Prime combines the leadership and nobility of Cap along with the unparallel powers of Thor into one. I think that's why Prime seems to be the only one who is doing all the heavy-lifting and the rest of the Autobots are left out in the cold.

Captain America. The colors are one thing, but also the character arc. Both Steve Rogers and Orion Pax started out in low positions, but in time, grew stronger mentally and physically. Their deeds we're grand, and they are both legend- wait for it! Now I hope you're not lactose intolerant, because the next part is DAIRY!

I've gone back and forth on this but I think he would be Iron man because of his dependence on Mehctech.

It's hard to see because he was a bad guy in the movie but Sentinel is the Capt America equivalent. He even managed to defeat Optimus one on one.

I was under the impression it was more of a generic question, based on the idea of the character's spirit across all mediums.
