| Autobot (former merc con) Join Date: Oct 2011 Posts: 597 Location: (Lancaster, Ca) Collection Count: 76 (30 cons, 46 bots) | The only thing that keeps me from wanting a Cameron-directed TF movie is that it would most assuredly look good but he's not exactly known for having characters that have personality anymore (he hasn't has well-written characters with any kind of depth since True Lies). Titanic and Avatar, anyone? For all the gripes against Bay, the TFs have some personality in the flicks (whether you like what he infused them with is a whole different conversation) and Bay has a far more energetic style than Cameron. Cameron has gotten lazy in his shot selection, a lot of his shots and setups are the same ones he pulled 30 years ago in his first movie. |
