During their battles, they destroyed Los Angeles (in the form of Mission City), Cairo and Chicago.

The city I think they should destroy next during the Transformers battle is New York City.

Because New York is a great city they have not destroyed yet, and I think they should destroy it. Think about it.

Devastator returning (without his testicles, what was the point of that?) and destroying The Empire State Building, and have the Autobots and Decepticons fight in Times Square. Or maybe it could instead take place in the Financial District in Lower Manhattan and Starscream blows up the Brooklyn Bridge.

I'd love that, because New York's landmarks being destroyed by fighting Transformers would make the best action scene in the entire movie series.

I wouldn't mind seeing them wreck up Nice or some Italian city on the Mediterranian. Or Tokyo. Some place where the buildings are so close together that they can't even move without smashing through buildings.

Eh, New York and LA are pretty run-of-the-mill targets for alien invasion movies. I'd rather go with someplace not usually at the top of the list, like Seattle or Houston or etc.

I would like to see them destroy Denver Colorado. the mountains would make for an awesome backdrop. Plus you could have the ark crashed into the side of a mountain for G1 goodness.

"How" they destroy is as important as "what" they destroy. We've seen cons blasting people in the city and demolishor rolling through Hong Kong. I'd like to see a swarm of insecticons chewing their way through a city.

Maybe if we go more global. Not only in certain parts of the movie like in the last 3, but maybe in the final battle scene (just like they chosen Egypt for ROTF). We got so many countries to choose.

I randomly chosen Gold Coast City in Australia

I like that choice. A lot of skyscrapers to topple.

As great as Tokyo is, I don't think that'd work. Because Tokyo's already taken by Godzilla, who I've actually been a fan of longer than Transformers.

Go the next step up and use Fort Worth. Would love for my home city to get destroyed (and for me to watch filming!)

That has got to be the stupidest reason for not leveling Tokyo I've ever heard, namely because Godzilla isn't limited to Tokyo. He hit New York in 1997 IIRC. Plus, it's not like Tokyo hasn't been leveled by other monsters who have no connection to Godzilla (in fact, Tokyo seems to be THE go-to place if you want to unleash city-wide destruction in a country that isn't America)

    That's true, he did.

OK. Maybe Tokyo can be destroyed by the Transformers, then Godzilla chomps Optimus AND Megatron's heads off because they are in HIS territory.

    1) Megatron is already dead. Did you not see DOTM or do you subscribe to eagc7's unhealthy obsession of resurrecting Megatron for no legitimate reason?

    2) Optimus would wreck Godzilla's face if the two engaged in combat.

    3) Godzilla does not exist in Transformers lore beyond G1, when it was somehow loosely connected through the marvel comics via a comment about a fire snorting lizard made by Nick Fury.

You've forgotten Quatar, Tranquility, Boulder City, Shanghai, a Pennsylvanian university vicinity (that belongs to an unnamed fictional city), Chernobyl, and Washington D.C. ;-P

I say why destroy more cities? Why don't the Autobots build a city instead for a change? Metroplex anyone?

Vancouver! Tidal Wave transforms, and wades through the water, firing his missiles at the coastal areas of the city until the Autobots can come take him down!
