Now, I realize that after Avengers, all future Marvel Universe films will be domestically released under the Disney label and Paramount gets the overseas releases, but ...

Last night I had an awesome dream. For reasons unknown, Habro and Marvel/Disney and Paramount teamed up to make a Transformers vs Avengers movie, with Joss Whendon directing the dialog scenes & writing, and Michael Bay directing the action scenes and explosions.

The Transformers were "Bayformer" versions of Transformer Prime versions of the characters (i.e. lots of parts showing, but Starscream LOOKED like starscream, not a giant monkey with wings), and the Avengers were, well, the Avengers.

Megatron basically orders the entire Decepticon fleet, normally spread out across the universe, to gather and attack earth, because Stark Industries perfected synthetic Energon for the Autobots.

Scenes in my dream included Starscream vs Ironman (battle of egos - think Ironman/raptor & Starscream/raptor scenes in IM1 & TF1 combined... starscream flies as jet and turns into robot to fire and punch at Ironman, who zips around), Megatron vs Thor (Megatron is about to decapitate Prime, when he gets hit up the side of the head by Mjölnir), Devastator (Hercules version) vs Hulk ("HULK SMASH GREEN TRUCKMAN!"), Captain America & Hawkeye vs Ravage, and in the end, Ironman and Prime "powerlink" together, called "Iron Prime" and basically wreck havoc on Megatron's armies. It was awesome.

Anyone else have a cool team-up/battle they'd like to see?

If that ever happened (not the comic) but the movies I'd die happy we'd finally get a good Transformers movie.

I would be all for this. Especially if Fox gave up the rights to the X-Men, and Sony gave up the rights to Spidey.

And it was better than the Avengers/Transformers comic.

And if Tigra was in it.

    No.

I'm pretty stoked for the Avengers movie, but I seriously don't think these two concepts fit together well.

Really? Coz... uhh... that's basically what the Transformers live movies are now.... instead of Avengers in spandex or armor suits, you have military guys pulling off impossible stunts. Replace Lennox with Captain America. Replace Epps with Iron Man, etc. You got humans doing all the heavy lifting in all three movies. Sub out the humans for heroes, and it'd actually be more believable. I BELIEVE Hawkeye can take down Barricade and 4 vehicons with his trick arrows... I cannot believe SEAL snipers with regular rifles can. I BELIEVE Hulk could fly at Devastator and tear him limb from limb.... I cannot believe a top secret military ship just so happens to be camped outside of a geo-political hotzone with a secret supersonic railgun. I BELIEVE Ironman is such a badarse in the air that he could take on 3 or 4 seekers with little trouble... I cannot believe regular military guys in flying-squirrel suits could evade and defeat seeker ships.

    So funny you mentioned that...

I had a fanfic I wrote in 1995 that was Stargate inspired for a Transformers G1 reboot, with Egyptian pyramids forming the base of a giant Space Bridge and the Autobots had sealed it to save earth and the humans (Egyptians used the hebrews to mine Energon)... thousands of years later, earth scientists discover it, activate the Space Bridge, and Megatron and his army come forth, and the Autobots (having hidden on earth as technology of the era) show themselves and must fight back to close Space Bridge.

I wish I still had it, but that was 5 or 6 computers ago. LOL

Transformers/Dragon Ball Z (Fusion. Nuff said.)
Transformers/Ghostbusters (something like with CYBERTRON Crosswise and Ancient Decepticons)
    Transformers/Street Fighter
    Transformers/Justice League

    Now we're rolling!

Yeah, well, excuse me for wanting my superheroes to fight actual villains from the comics, of which there are many to choose from, before they tackle characters from a completely different franchise.

Also, I'm afraid having the Bayverse Transformers cross over with the Marvel Cinematic Universe will cheapen the latter.

I hope that doesn't happen, because the current situation fortunately gives us an Avengers movie that is actually about the Avengers rather than "Spider-Man, Wolverine and some other guys".

If a Transformers/Avengers movie ever happened, it would cost around 450- 500 million dollars to make and would be more than three hours long. I think it would be worth it because it would be so awesome that I would see it several times.

    I just want an Ironhide/War Machine spin-off film and a Optimus/Iron Man.
