Adorable isnt the word I'd use. The art work is really high quality and is probably a sad irony since movie-verse Megatron was supposed to be the protector of Cybertron.

It is kind of telling that the artist uses children. Adults would be too fear-struck to approach but children let their sense of wonder override their judgement occasionally (see Ironhide and the girl in TF07) and would feel safe with the giant robot no matter how fearsome he looked.
