I think you are confused. 3D is done with any type of movie. TF DOTM was done in 3D. Do you mean Animated by chance?¿?

That actually got me thinking... TFP Starscream and Soundwave's designs are pretty much similar to Burton's aesthetic!   Long, spindly legs, gangly arms and dark/dull colours.

 

That makes sense. 

 

I think he really should do a Hearts of Steel movie.
