Were you a TF fan before?

    Before the movies, that is.

    While I did know about Transformers before, I wasn't really a fan. It was pretty much the same case with Marvel and DC stuff...comics didn't really interest me.

    I've only seen about 4 episode of Transformers back in early 90's, but the whole thing didn't really catch my attention until the movies came out.

    So what about you?

    Nope.

    had the Movies never been made, transformers would be unknown to me

    I had no idea what teh hell tf was until the movies. I loved transformers when I saw the first seconds of it. Glad I saw the movies.

    this. i liked the first movie. then the second got me into TFs. ironically, (i guess you can call this irony) i loath the :bay  -verse entirely

    Oh yeah, way before the movies. Not as far back as G1, but Beast Wars is what got me started. And of course, my interest increased as the new series came out one after the other. :)

    In my defense, I did know who Optimus Prime was, as well as Megatron and Starscream. Some of that could be due to Family Guy/Robot Chicken :D

    I had been exposed to transformers from my earliest memories, but I became a fan after I bought some figures at a thrift store.

    No. I even hated Animated prior to the movies! (It's my favorite of the TV series now) :lol

    I became a fan in the fall of '06, and started by collecting Cybertron and Classics. The movie probably made me be a bigger fan than I would otherwise have been, but it did not directly make me one.

    been a fan since I saw the 86 movie and g1 reruns during the g2 toyline in '92ish.
