While I love Megan, I will have to agree.
Rosie had charisma and chemistry, atleast enough of it for a first time actress.

 

What does getting Razzies (or Oscars, for that matter) have to do with your personal enjoyment of the movie? I mean, you liked the movie before, and chances are you'll still like it after the Razzies are handed out.

 

Yep 4th highest grossing movie worldwide clearly is the worst film ever.

 

Eh it's tradition at this point; all of the TF movies have won Razzies for one thing or another. Seems like they nominated DotM for all those categories just for the heck of it in the standard "Hey guys, Transformers was the worst movie ever, amirite?!" attitude. I especially don't understand Patrick Dempsey's nomination; he wasn't stand-out, but I see actors who do worse than that in almost every movie I watch.
I'm betting it wins in Worst Director and Worst Screenplay. Everything else will go to J&J and Twilight.

 

The ROTF hate is still strong regardless of DOTM's quality. DOTM was solid in almost every way except maybe being a bit overlong, and there is absolutely no reason any it should have been nominated in any of the fields that it was for the Razzie's. At the very least, the Academy recognized its technological proficiency, unlike the previous film.

 

The screen play wasn't terrible IMO, had so much potential, and director,
he's Michael Bay.
Even if he does the impossible and creates a movie "Inception" worthy, he will most likely STILL get a razzie nomination.
I assume that's how ridiculous it is.

 

Titanic ranks higher on the highest grossing list and is a much worse film, IMO. As is Avatar.

 

Ok now this is just sad. ROTF I can understand but there is no way in hell DOTM deserves these many Razzies.

With so much bad film making out of Hollywood I'm shocked they could narrow down the list enough. Really going to be hard though for any of the other films to out stink Jack and Jill for those Razzies.

But no matter who wins there will be plenty of nominees next year because too many production teams love going for that lowest common denominator. Ha ha, and since Micheal Bay never changes there is always the chance of grabbing some Razzies for Transformers 4 if we don't win this time.

 

Where is Green Lantern? The Razzies are almost as bad as the Oscars. Almost.

But hey, I would except no less from a group of folks who think THE SHINING is a bad film.

Because he makes entertaining movies ?(which is the whole point for movies in general)I mean seriously DOTM may not be a great film but it sure wasn't the worst. Have they seen Twlight: "breaking all hope for a good vampire movie for 10 years" part 1 ?
